>>>C-0. THE TRUE FOUNDATION OF THE CHURCH!<<<
There are many church denominations that CLAIM to be the ONE TRUE church, but some church denominations are NOT built upon the FOUNDATION that was laid by Jesus Christ. Jesus said that he would build his church upon the ROCK of the revelation that he is the Christ, the Son of the living God. In other words, some church denominations teach church TRADITION and NOT what the Bible ITSELF teaches. So please read my ne book called C101 Church TRADITION Versus BIBLICAL Christianity! But for now, let us continue with this short introduction study in God’s word.
Please read Matthew 16:15-18.
“He said unto them, But who do you say that I am?
16. And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, blessed are you Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto you, but my Father which is in heaven.
18. And I say also unto you, That You are Peter, and upon this ROCK I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Jesus did not build his church upon Peter, but rather, Jesus built his church upon the REVELATION that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Please notice that it was Almighty God the Father who revealed this rock-solid truth to the Apostle Peter. And thus, it is THIS TRUTH that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God that Jesus built his church upon. And the Apostle Paul teaches us that there is no other FOUNDATION laid that is laid except for Jesus Christ.
Please read 1 Corinthians 3:10,11.
“According to the grace of God, which is given unto me as a wise master builder, I have laid the FOUNDATION, and another one builds thereon. But let every man take heed of HOW he builds thereupon.
11. For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
Now, in my opinion, Orthodox Christianity has NOT taken heed as to HOW they have built upon the FOUNDATION of Jesus being the Christ, the Son of the living God.
What I mean by this is that Orthodox Christianity defines a CULT as being any and every church denomination or church organization that says they are “CHRISTIAN”, but they do NOT believe and teach the doctrine of the Trinity. In other words, according to “orthodox” Christianity, every church denomination that DENIES the doctrine of the TRINITY is considered by Trinitarian Christians as being a CULT. For you see, according to almost all Trinitarian churches, a Christian MUST believe in the doctrine of the Trinity in order to be saved. And, therefore, according to THEM, any church that does not believe and teach the doctrine of the Trinity is not a part of the ONE TRUE Church.
However, I myself do NOT believe and teach that the doctrine of the Trinity MUST be believed in order to be saved. In fact, I can no longer believe in the doctrine of the Trinity because the Holy Spirit has shown to me that it contradicts many verses of Scripture. And, therefore, I myself do NOT JUDGE other church denominations to be lost like some Trinitarian churches do.
The purpose of this website here at AMatterOfTruth.com is to give my readers and seekers of the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God, the SAME FOUNDATION that Jesus laid. I desire all Christians to be rooted and grounded in the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. And in order for all Christians to come into the UNITY of the faith so that we all believe and teach the same things, then we need to expose the ERRORS of interpretation made by those who teach FALSE doctrine.
Below is a list of all of my SUBJECT headings at the top of my website page. This way you can send just this ONE link that has all of the subject headings that I cover. And in each of those subject headings is a list of studies with links related to that particular subject or church doctrine. So again, you can send just one link with all of the studies that I have on that particular church doctrine. Every study that I have written is built upon the solid ROCK FOUNDATION of ONE TRUE church that Jesus built. And again, that solid ROCK FOUNDATION is that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.
All of my tenets of faith and all of my Bible studies are divided into two categories, what Jesus and his Apostles teach are in the top section, and false teachings are in the bottom section divided by the heading WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG?
And the studies following the subject heading of >>>T-0. FALSE TEACHINGS!<<< are the in-depth Bible studies exposing the errors of interpretations made by BOTH the mainstream church denominations AND also by what mainstream Orthodox Christianity defines as being a CULT.
Please understand that if your church says that they alone are the one true church, then that does not make everything that they teach to be sound Biblical teaching. I say this because I trusted that the churches that I attended in my life were teaching the truth. And when the Holy Spirit taught me that some of the some of the church doctrines contradicted what the Bible itself teaches us. So, I know what it is like to no longer fit in to truly feel that you are a part of that church fellowship anymore. And that is what I say, please know that when you come to understand that your church is not the one true church that Jesus built, that you are always WELCOME in the only true church built upon the FOUNDATION that Jesus laid.
For you see, if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior then you are already a part of the only true church being built by Jesus even if your church denomination teaches FALSE man-made doctrines. In other words, you are NOT leaving God or the TRUE faith taught by Jesus when you leave a church “denomination” that teaches false doctrine. You are only leaving the false doctrine, even if you feel led you remain in that fellowship to help your friends and family also learn the truth.
At the top of my homepage, there are subject headings or categories which contain compiled lists of all the studies that I have written on that particular subject. Or you can scroll down the menu list on the left side to find those same studies as well. But if you know the subject or church doctrine that you want to study, then it might be easier to use the links at the top of the page. I will do my best to keep the lists of studies updated as I add NEW studies in that category.
Also, in the studies I write please notice the highlighted colors. I basically use FOUR main colors when highlighting in my Bible studies. Each of the four colors have a coded representation or meaning. Below is a list of the four colors and what each color represents.
#1. The ORANGE highlighting refers to Yahweh, Almighty God the Father as being the ONE TRUE God in ONE person.
#2. The YELLOW highlighting refers to Jesus, the Son of God, DURING the days of his FLESH. In other words, the color yellow represents the HUMAN Son of God BEFORE his God and Father highly exalted the Son of MAN, Jesus. I also use the color yellow just as emphasis to draw your attention to key words and phrases.
#3. The BLUE highlighting refers to Jesus AFTER God highly exalted His human Son and CROWNED him with glory and honor to be MADE Lord over the earth for 1000 years in the world to come. The light blue color also represents TRUTH.
#4. The GREEN highlighting refers to FALSE doctrines of devils. I use the color green in most cases to draw attention to things that word of God teaches AGAINST, but in SOME cases the color green is for emphasis only. In other words, when I want words like AND, ALSO, FOR, and THAT to stand out in a phrase that is highlighted in all yellow, then I will also use the green and or blue color just to emphasize a word.
And here is a list of LINKS to each of the in depth Bible studies on the subject of what must I do to be saved or HOW can I be saved. The subject HEADING will always be in the arrow brackets. Each SUBJECT is coded with a LETTER of the alphabet and then each study has a number in the ORDER that I suggest they be read. For you see, each study builds or adds more understanding to the previous study above it. So learning God’s word is kind of like learning math or arithmetic, you need to learn the BASICS before you do solve the mathematical problems.
