Why are we here? What is the purpose of life? Why did God create us? What does God allow evil?
These are some of the many questions that people ask and the answers to these and many more questions are found in the Bible.
B-6 Ch1 Why God Created us!
What is the Reason for Why we Exist?
Chapter 1.
Why are we HERE?
Many people have asked themselves the questions, “Why are we here?”, “What is the purpose of life?”, Why did God create us?” “Are we alone in the universe?”, “Why does God allow suffering in the world?” “Why are some babies born blind?” Did God create Lucifer EVIL?”
And the short answer to all of these questions and many more questions are answered in one passage of Scripture, Psalm 8:1-6. The REASON that God created human beings is to clear God’s name from be blasphemed by His ENEMIES, according to Psalm 74:10.
The words that I emphasize in orange refer to Yahweh, Almighty God the Father. The words that I highlight is yellow refer to the Son of MAN, Jesus, before God highly exalted him and gave him a NEW NAME that is higher the every other name, according to Philippians 2:8-11.
And the words that I highlight in blue refer to the TRUTH and to the GLORFIED Son of MAN, Jesus, after the cross and resurrection. In other words, Psalm 8:1-6 is a PROPHECY of the Messiah and WHY God created MAN and the Son of MAN.
Psalm 8:1-6.
“To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David. O LORD our Lord, (Or more correctly translated in the LITERAL translation from the Textus Receptus, Yahweh Lords of us) how excellent is Your NAME in all the earth! Who has set Your glory above the heavens. (In other words, the Son of MAN, Jesus, gave glory to his God and Father during his ministry. And as a reward for the OBEDIENCE of the human Son of God, Yahweh gave Jesus a NEW NAME and MADE him Lord over the earth for 1000 years during the world to come, according to Acts 2:36, Isaiah 58:8, Hebrews 12:2, Acts 2:28, Psalm 21:6, and Psalm 17:15)
Psalm 8:2. Out of the mouth of babes and suckling have You ordained strength BECAUSE of Your enemies, that You might STILL the ENEMY and the AVENGER.
Psalm 8:3. When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained;
Psalm 8:4, What is MAN, that You are mindful of him? And the Son of MAN, that You visitest him? (And, according to Isaiah 50:4-7, Yahweh visited the Son of MAN, Jesus, morning by morning to TEACH him that the Scriptures prophesied of him)
Psalm 8:5. For You have MADE him a little LOWER than the angels, (In other words, God created or made MAN and the Son of MAN, Jesus, LOWER or inferior to the angels) AND have CROWNED him with glory and honor. (To be made Lord over the earth for 1000 years during the word to come for a REASON. And that reason for created a new species of beings called the HUMAN a little LOWER that God previous creation of the angels is for God to JUDGE Lucifer, aka Satan, and the fallen angels guilty as charged by the MAN who He ordained and raised from the dead, according to Acts 17:29-31)
Psalm 8:6. You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet:”
The Hebrew word translated as “to STILL your enemies” means to rid His enemies, to put down or remove His enemies. And it also carries the meaning of taking away the credibility of the enemies accusation against Yahweh. Keep in mind that God’s NAME or character has been polluted or profaned by His enemy, the avenger, according to Isaiah 48:11.
Yahweh DEFENDS His name or character in Ezekiel 28:15, say to His anointed Cherub, you were PERFECT the day that I CREATED you.
So then, in order to clear Yahweh’s name or character of being BLAMED for CREATING Lucifer and the fallen angels as being FLAWED or NOT being created perfect, Yahweh decided to CREATE man and the Son of MAN a little LOWER or inferior to the angels.
And if even ONE MAN lives a righteous life before Yahweh, then God will JUDGE the world or the AGE by the MAN that He ordained and raised from the dead, according to Acts 17:29-31.
Let us go ahead and read the context of Ezekiel 28:15 so that you can see that the ENEMY of God has BLASPHEMED His name by wrong accusing Yahweh of creating him flawed or with a rebellious nature. The prophet Ezekiel is a figure of the Messiah and king Tyrus is a figure of Satan who was in the Garden of Eden.
Ezekiel 28:12-19.
“Son of MAN, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus says the Lord GOD; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
Ezekiel 28:13. You have been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you were created. (Again, the heart of the whole matter is to clear Yahweh’s name concerning whether or not God CREATED Lucifer EVIL to wage a war against Yahweh’s throne. Or did God CREATE Lucifer with a sinful evil rebellious nature and it is not just for God to destroy Satan and the fallen angels in the lake of fire that God PREPARED for the Devil and his angels, according to Matthew 25:41)
Ezekiel 28:14. You are the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set you so: you were upon the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. (To me, this speaks of Yahweh setting Lucifer as a good God over the earth during a previous AGE of the earth BEFORE Lucifer and the fallen angels waged a WAR against Yahweh’s throne of authority as the CREATOR)
Ezekiel 28:15. You were PERFECT in your WAYS from the day that you were CREATED, till iniquity was found in you. (In other words, I, Yahweh CREATED you perfect and you ways were perfect from the day I created you TILL the day you sinned. And here is WHY you yourself sinned. It was NOT because I created you with a sinful nature. But rather, it was)
Ezekiel 28:16. By the multitude of your merchandise, they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore, I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Ezekiel 28:17. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.
Ezekiel 28:18. You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your traffic; therefore. will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you.
Ezekiel 28:19. All they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: you shall be a terror, and never shall you be any more.”

Once you understand the Jesus was CREATED and WHY God created MAN and the Son of MAN, Jesus, then all of the verses of Scripture fall right in place. And the REASON that Yahweh CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus, was to have DOMINION over the work of Yahweh’s hands. And the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
