My tenets of faith are what I Believe the Bible itself Teaches us in Simplicity!

And in my tenets of faith I explain briefly WHY I believe what I believe!

So then, what does the Bible ITSELF teach us as being the TRUE FOUNDATION of the TRUE church? For you see, In our world of today there are thousands of churches and they all teach something different, but yet, they all sincerely believe that they are the one true church. Now, I believe that we can know God’s INTENDED truth by truly considering all of the Scriptures in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. With that being said, please hear the WHOLE MATTER before you judge what I teach. To me, the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ should be taught in SIMPLICITY and NOT as some MYSTERY that the human mind cannot comprehend.

Now, what I myself PERSONALLY BELIEVE with ALL of MY HEART that the BIBLE ITSELF teaches us! 

And WHY I believe what I believe are outlined below!          

Here at FirstbornOfGod.com and at AMatterOfTruth.com, the clear, plain, simple word of Almighty God is taught in simplicity to all whom God leads to reading these in-depth Bible studies in His word of truth. So, if you are truly seeking to know only the truth of the whole word of God, then according to Acts 17:11, search the word of God daily for yourself to see if you are being taught the truth. And, according to 2 Timothy 2:15, study to show yourself approved unto God so that you will not be confused. If you do your part, then I will do my utmost to be apt to teach you in gentleness and patience according to 2 Timothy 2:24. May God bless you richly as you open your heart to His word and seek His INTENDED truth by basing your faith upon the WHOLE word of God and NOT just on Scriptures taken out of the CONTEXT to invent man-made church doctrines.

Many of the readers here at  AMatterOfTruth.com have written to me asking what I myself personally believe. And in the past I had been reluctant to post a summarized Tenets of Faith or Statements of Faith, because I know that some Christians just quickly skim through the list of statements of faith when they visit different websites, and if they find even one tiny little thing that they do NOT agree with, then they simply move on to find another website. It is like they are not TRULY searching for the truth, but rather, they are surfing the Internet to find only those that support or agree with what they themselves have already been TAUGHT by their particular church denomination.

Well, I want to assure you by straight out telling you right now, upfront, that there is not a single website on the Internet that will teach EVERYTHING that any Christian will be in TOTAL agreement with based upon what they have PREVIOUSLY been TAUGHT by their particular church denomination.

So, I can almost assure you that there will be SOMETHING that I teach on this website that you will find that you will NOT agree with at FIRST because it will not be in accordance with what your particular denomination has PREVIOUSLY TAUGHT you. And the reason WHY you will find at least one teaching on this site that you do not agree upon is due to what you have previously been TAUGHT. Or you are ASSUMING that something is true that is not true and you have based your belief in that particular subject on a FALSE assumption which you sincerely believe is the truth but it is not sound Biblical teaching.

So then, the question is “Has your particular denomination taught you CORRECTLY?” “Has your church denomination been teaching you the TRUTH, the WHOLE truth, and NOTHING but the TRUTH?” “How do you know for sure if everything you have been taught is the truth?” Have you searched the word of truth for yourself in order to see whether or not you have been taught the truth of the WHOLE word of God? “Are the interpretations of the Scriptures that you were taught the God INTENDED interpretations? For you see, God’s INTENDED interpretation of the Scriptures will never CONTRADICT any other passage of Scripture in the Bible when all of the Scriptures are correctly interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.

You see I was taught many things in the different church denominations that I have attended over the years. And I accepted what I was taught as being the truth without question, UNTIL I started seeing CONTRADICTIONS in some of those church doctrines that did NOT AGREE with the clear, plain, and simple word of God. You see dear children of God, the Holy Spirit is opening OUR eyes to the TRUTH of His word to see that many of the church doctrines that we all were PREVIOUSLY taught are NOT ALL SOUND BIBLICAL teachings. And if you are here reading these studies here on this website or any other website, then you are here for one of four reasons.

#1. The Holy Spirit has led you here and you are TRULY seeking the TRUTH with all your heart.

#2. You are here because you want to find others, who AGREE with what you yourself already believe. In other words, you are seeking other Christians who are being SHOWN the same things that you yourself are being taught by the Holy Spirit from the Bible itself.

#3. The Holy Spirit has led you here to LEARN how to be saved and receive eternal life in the world to come.

#4. You are here or visiting other websites to try and “straighten” everyone else with your man-made church doctrines.   

So then, most all of you who are here already know what the mainstream church denominations teach.

BUT WHAT DOES THE BIBLE ITSELF TEACH?

The following is a summarized list of statements of faith in which I myself have found that the CLEAR, PLAIN, and SIMPLE word of God teaches us in SIMPLICITY with absolutely NO interpretation needed to understand what the Bible itself teaches. Some of the statements of faith listed below are ESSENTIAL TRUTHS from the whole word of God, which we MUST believe in order to be saved. While other statements of faith in this list are what we SHOULD believe, because they are clear, plain, and simple FACTS that are STATED in simplicity directly from the Bible itself with NO interpretation needed to understand what those verses are teaching.

And then, following at the end of this #NUMBERED list of  #1, #2, #3, and so forth, I will add what I do NOT believe that is clearly and plainly taught in the WHOLE word of Almighty God. And that list of FALSE teachings will be LETTERED as A, B, C, D, and so forth to avoid confusion. Now, I separate these two lists because SOME church denominations dogmatically teach many of the things in the LETTERED list of FALSE teachings as being the truth. But in all honesty, they are NOT clearly and plainly taught in simplicity with NO interpretation needed in the Bible ITSELF. But rather, they are traditions of men that have been handed down from generation to generation all through the history of the church. And some of those man-made “traditional” church doctrines have been extremely controversial. And at times even to the putting to death those Christians who denied to accept those man-made teachings as being sound Biblical teachings.

So then, here is the numbered list of what I myself personally BELIEVE that the Bible ITSELF clearly and plainly teaches us in SIMPLICITY with NO interpretation needed to understand what the Bible ITSELF states as FACT.

Now, with each statement of faith, there is a verse of Scripture verse or several verses Scripture. And with many of my tenets of faith I will also have a blue LINK to an in-depth Bible study with all the verses of Scripture that shows why I myself personally believe that this is what the Bible itself clearly teaches us in simplicity. So, I implore you to take the time to read and study those in-depth Bible studies even if you disagree with that particular statement of faith. Or I should say ESPECIALLY if you disagree with a particular statement of faith, then that tells me that you have not truly considered the WHOLE word of Almighty God. And thus, you have not been taught everything there is to know on that particular subject. So all I am asking my readers is a simple question, “What if you are WRONG?” With that being said, here are my tenets of faith.

MY TENETS OF FAITH!

WHAT THE BIBLE ITSELF TEACHES!

TENET OF FAITH #1. 

I believe that the Holy Bible is God’s word of truth written by men of old or who lived long ago. I believe that those men were inspired by Almighty God to write down as the record of what Almighty God Himself desired to be written, according to 2 Timothy 3:16. And I myself personally believe that the Bible alone should be the foundation on which to base ALL church doctrine according to the same verse.

2 Timothy 3:16.

“ALL SCRIPTURE (And NOT all Scripture AND church TRADITION) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

TENET OF FAITH #2. 

I believe that the Holy Bible in its original form is without errors. And by its original form I mean the original language in which the Scriptures were first written. And thus, the Bible ITSELF will never contradict ITSELF. So then, any errors or contradictions that may SEEM to be found in the Bible are caused by man’s own personal interpretation. I also believe that SOME contradictions in interpreting the Scriptures are caused by the translations of the Bible into other languages. 

For you see, all translations do NOT AGREE with each other. And all of the many church denominations do NOT AGREE with each other.  And thus, they ONLY read the translation of the Bible that supports their theology. 

So then, I myself personally believe that the word of God, the Holy Bible, is the word of TRUTH, according to John 17:17. Jesus is praying to Almighty God the Father concerning the SCRIPTURES, the WORD of God, the Holy Bible when he said to the Father, Your word is TRUTH. And thus, I want my readers to know E-7. What is the TRUE GOSPEL of Jesus CHRIST? You can read the in-depth studies to understand WHY I teach what I teach. This is just a BRIEF summary of what I believe.

John 17:17 is where Jesus is speaking to Almighty God the Father concerning the WORD, the Holy Scriptures, written in the Old Testament of the Bible.

John 17:17.

“Sanctify them through YOUR truth: YOUR word is TRUTH.”

TENET OF FAITH #3.

I believe that the Bible teaches us as Christians that there is but “ONE God”, who ALONE is the “ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God”, which the word of truth ALWAYS clearly identifies as being the Father alone, according to 1 Corinthians 8:6, 2 Corinthians 1:3, and James 3:9, along with many other verses such as John 17:1-3 confirming this sound Biblical truth.

1 Corinthians 8:6.

“But to us, there is but ONE God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

2 Corinthians 1:3.

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;”

James 3:9.

“Therewith we bless God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.”

TENET OF FAITH #4.

I believe that Almighty God has a SON and the NAME of His ONLY begotten SON is Jesus, or Yeshua, which means Yahweh saves or the salvation OF Yahweh, or YHWH. And, according to Exodus 3:15, that name Yahweh is that name of Almighty God, the Father FOREVER. And I believe that Jesus of Nazareth is clearly and plainly identified as being the “SON OF Almighty God the Father”, according to 1 John 4:14,15 along with many other verses of Scripture, far too numerous to quote in these summarized tenets of faith or statements of faith.

1 John 4:13,15.

“And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.

15. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the SON OF God, God dwells in him, and he in God.”

Even the devils knew that Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God, the Father, according to Luke 4:41 and many other verses as well.

Luke 4:41.

“And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, You are Christ, the SON OF God. And he rebuked them, and suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.”

TENET OF FAITH #5.

I believe that “Jesus is THE CHRIST”. The word Christ means the anointed one and Messiah. The Christ or the anointed Messiah was sent by God. And the word translated as “sent” in the Bible means commissioned by Almighty God the Father to go out into the world to accomplish the task that God empowered Jesus to do. Jesus was ORDAINED by God to be the Messiah. God APPOINTED Jesus to be His Messiah. In other words, the root meaning of ANOINTED means to be APPOINTED to accomplish a task which God EMPOWERS you to accomplish. And part of the commissioned task of Jesus is to be the way of salvation for mankind by suffering and dying on the cross for the sins of the whole world, so that whosoever believes in Jesus as the SON OF God, who died for their sins, shall be saved according to John 20:31, Matthew 16,17, and John 3:14-18.

John 20:31.

“But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is THE CHRIST, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through his name.”

Matthew 16:16,17.

“And Simon Peter answered and said, You are THE CHRIST, the Son of the living God.

17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto you, but my Father which is in heaven.”

John 3:14-18.

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of man be lifted up: (Or even so must the Son of MAN be crucified on the cross for the sins of the whole world)

15.  That whosoever believes in him should NOT perish, but (Or, but rather,) have eternal life.

16.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his ONLY begotten SON, that (Or, so that) whosoever believes in him should NOT perish, but (Rather, they shall) have everlasting life.

17.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18.  He that believes in him (Jesus the SON OF God) is NOT condemned: BUT he that believes NOT is condemned ALREADY because he has NOT believed in the NAME of the only begotten SON OF God.”

So then, this is a MUST BELIEVE statement of faith in order to be saved. If you are NOT ABSOLUTELY SURE that you ARE saved, then I implore you to read the studies under the heading >>>E-0. HOW CAN I BE SAVED?<<<

TENET OF FAITH #6.     

I believe that “Jesus is the ONLY NAME” given among mankind whereby the human race MUST be saved and that no human being can come unto Almighty God the Father except they come through the name of Jesus, the ONLY way to the Father, according to Acts 4:10-12 and John 14:6.

Acts 4:10-12.

“Be it KNOWN unto you ALL, and to all the people of Israel, that by the NAME of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here before you whole. 

11. This is the stone which was set at naught of you builders, which has become the head of the corner.

12.  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we MUST be saved.” 

John 14:6.

“Jesus said unto him, I am the WAY, the truth, and the life: NO MAN comes unto the Father, BUT BY ME.” 

TENET OF FAITH #7.

I believe with all my heart that Jesus, of his own free will, became obedient to Almighty God his Father to suffer and die on the cross being crucified for the sins of the world. Jesus died on the cross so that whosoever believes in their heart that Jesus died for their sins might be saved. And the “CONFESSION of their faith” in Jesus as the SON OF God, who died for them, and that God raised His Son from the dead is unto salvation. And thus, they shall be saved, according to Romans 10:8-13.

Romans 10:8-13.

“But what does it say? The word is nigh you, even in your mouth, and in your HEART: that is, the word of FAITH, which we preach; (In other words, what does the word of God teach to your HEART to BELIEVE)

9.  That if you shall CONFESS with your MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shall BELIEVE in your HEART that God has RAISED him from the DEAD, you shall be saved. 

10.  For with the HEART man BELIEVES unto righteousness, and with the mouth CONFESSION is made unto salvation. (Did you notice the TWO steps of being saved? First, we believe with our heart unto RIGHTEOUSNESS, which is God forgiving us of all of our PAST sins to be MADE righteous by God in His Son Jesus. And then comes our WALK of faith unto SALVATION. So we will CONFESS what we believe in our HEART without being ashamed until the end of our life or until Jesus comes again. But some Christians CONFESS the wrong things. And that is because they have “head” faith or they believe with head knowledge only. And thus, they are not truly believing in the HEART. Another meaning of the Greek word translated as “ashamed” means confounded or confused, not sure. So when we are SURE in our hearts of what we believe, then we will boldly confess what God has sown in our hearts and bears witness that it is true)

11.  For the Scripture says, Whosoever believes in him shall not be ashamed.

12.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto ALL that call upon him.

13.  For WHOSOEVER shall call upon the NAME of the Lord shall be saved.”

TENET OF FAITH #8.

I believe that “Jesus was crucified for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD” and that God RAISED his Son from the dead after three days and three nights of Jesus being dead and buried in the grave. I believe that Almighty God gave the Son of Man, Jesus, immortality after the cross to be alive forevermore never to die again, according to the above verses in Romans 10:8-13, which you just read. And also, according to Romans 6:9, Revelation 1:18, John 3:14-18, and 1 John 2.

Romans 6:9.

“Knowing that Christ being RAISED from the dead dies NO MORE; death has NO MORE dominion over him.” 

Revelation 1:18.

“I am he that LIVES, and WAS dead; and, behold, I am ALIVE forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

John 3:14-18.

“And AS Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of man be lifted up: (On the cross to be crucified for the sins of the whole world)

15.  That WHOSOEVER believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18. He that believes ON him (Speaking of Jesus the SON OF God) is NOT condemned: BUT he that believes NOT (That Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God the Father who has ANOINTED his SON Jesus to be the CHRIST) is condemned ALREADY, because he has NOT believed in the NAME of the only begotten SON OF God.”

1 John 2:1-2.

“My little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin not. And if ANY man sin, (Or ANY human being sins, male or female no matter what race. Some people are WRONGLY being taught that God only saves CERTAIN people, but this is NOT what the Bible ITSELF teaches us) we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 

2.  And he is the propitiation (Or Jesus is the atonement or the sacrifice)  for our sins: and NOT for ours ONLY, but ALSO for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD.”

TENET OF FAITH #9.

I believe in the “BODILY resurrection of the dead” in Jesus Christ. And what I mean by this is that all who believe in Jesus unto the end shall be raised from the dead, they will be given eternal life, and they will be given a LITERAL new glorified IMMORTAL BODY of FLESH and BONE just like Jesus has now.  And right now Jesus is sitting down on his Father’s throne at his Father’s right hand. And we shall live and reign with Jesus in the world to come for a “LITERAL 1000 years” in a LITERAL immortal BODY, according to Luke 24:39; 1 John 3:2; John 11:25; Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 6:14; 2 Corinthians 4:14; Revelation 20:4-6 and many other passages of Scripture.

Luke 24:39. 

“Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit has NOT flesh and bones, as you see me HAVE.”

1 John 3:2.

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear (Or we have not obtained as yet) what we shall BE: but we KNOW that, when he shall appear, we shall be LIKE HIM; for we shall see him as he is.” 

John 11:25.

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the LIFE: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he LIVE:”

Romans 8:11.

“But if the Spirit of Him that RAISED up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall ALSO quicken (Or shall ALSO make ALIVE) your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in you.” 

1 Corinthians 6:14.

“And God has both RAISED up the Lord, and will ALSO RAISE up us by His own power.” 

2 Corinthians 4:14.

“KNOWING that He who RAISED UP the Lord Jesus shall RAISE up us ALSO by Jesus, and shall present us with you.”

Revelation 20:4-6.

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they LIVED and REIGNED WITH Christ a thousand years.

5.  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 

6.  Blessed and holy is he that has part in the FIRST resurrection: on such the second death has NO power, (Meaning that ONLY those who are believers in Jesus will be given eternal life at his second coming to rule and reign for a 1000 years on the earth) but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall REIGN WITH with him a thousand years.”

TENET OF FAITH #10.

I believe in “TWO and ONLY TWO resurrections” of the dead to stand before God in JUDGMENT. In other words, there are still yet TWO and only TWO resurrections of the dead to face the JUDGMENT of God. These two resurrections are NOT to be confused with Christians raising the dead in the name of Jesus. Those raised from the dead will die again.

The FIRST of these two separate resurrections for JUDGMENT is for ONLY those of us, who are BELIEVERS in Jesus Christ in this PRESENT world, who have remained faithful unto the end. And the second and final resurrection at the end of the Millennial reign of Jesus is for ALL of the REST of the dead. The FIRST resurrection is our blessed HOPE and it is called a BETTER resurrection for many reasons such as we shall LIVE forever and the second death will NOT have any power over those of us, who partake in the FIRST resurrection according to Revelation 20:4-6, Hebrews 11:35.

 Revelation 20:4-6.

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they LIVED and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 

5.  But the REST of the dead lived NOT again UNTIL the thousand years were finished. This is the FIRST resurrection. (Speaking of faithful believers in Jesus who will LIVE and reign with Jesus for a 1000 years)

6.  BLESSED and holy is he that has part in the FIRST resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”

Hebrews 11:35.

“Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance (From persecution or martyrdom); THAT (Or so that or in order that) they might obtain a BETTER resurrection:”

In the SECOND and final resurrection AFTER the 1000 year reign of Jesus where ALL the REST of the dead shall be raised to appear before the JUDGMENT there will be BOTH righteous people and wicked people raised from the dead in this final resurrection according to John 5:28,29, Acts 24:15, and 1 Corinthians 15:21.

John 5:28-29.

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which, ALL that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 

29.  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of LIFE; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of DAMNATION.”

Acts 24:15.

“And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, BOTH of the just AND unjust.”

1 Corinthians 15:2.

“For since by man came death, by man came ALSO the resurrection of the dead.”

TENET OF FAITH #11. 

I believe in what has come to be called the “RAPTURE of the church” by many different church denominations, according to 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, and 1 Corinthians 15:50-53. The word “RAPTURE” is not actually found in the Bible translations that most Christians use today, but the actual EVENT of literally being CAUGHT UP to be with Jesus is indeed clearly taught in the Bible itself. And to be caught up is what the word “Rapture” or “rapturo” from the Latin Vulgate translation of the Greek word  “harpazo” literally means. This Greek word literally means to snatch away. So then, the word rapture, in simplicity, means the CATCHING UP or the snatching away of the SAINTS to forever be with God and His Son Jesus. And our being caught to meet Jesus is the AIR is clearly and plainly taught in the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible. 

Now, most Christians do indeed believe in the RAPTURE of the church, but the CONTROVERSY among Christians is WHEN the rapture will take place. Some Christians argue that the rapture will take place BEFORE the great tribulation. Other Christians argue that the rapture will take place in the MIDDLE of the great tribulation MID. While yet other Christians argue that the rapture will take place IMMEDIATELY AFTER the great tribulation. Please see the false teaching linked in the section at the end titled what I do NOT believe that the Bible ITSELF clearly and plainly teaches in simplicity with NO interpretation needed to understand. But for now, here are two main verses in the Bible that teach us about the rapture of the church.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have NO hope (Meaning ONLY those who believe IN Jesus as their ATONEMENT will take part in the FIRST resurrection and be given their new immortal body of flesh and bone like Jesus AT the time of the RAPTURE. ALL others have NO hope of obtaining eternal life at the RAPTURE of the CHURCH. So be READY!)

14.  For IF we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, then they also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.

15.  For this, we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16.  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17.  Then we who are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP TOGETHER with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18.  Wherefore, comfort one another with these words.”

1 Corinthians 15:50-53.

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh, and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. 

51.  Behold, I SHOW you a mystery; (Or a secret that God has kept secret until the church age is REVEALED to us that) We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be CHANGED,

52.  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be CHANGED.

53.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on IMMORTALITY.”

TENET OF FAITH #12. 

I believe in the “POST tribulation PRE WRATH rapture” of the church, which means that the rapture of the church will take place immediately AFTER the time of the tribulation of THOSE days that Jesus teaches us in Matthew chapter 24. And thus, I believe that the rapture of the church will occur at the SECOND coming of Jesus right before Jesus pours out the WRATH of Almighty God, according to many, many passages of Scripture, too numerous to quote in this brief summary of what I believe. So again, please read “ALL of the in-depth studies related to the rapture” of the church that will take place AT the second coming of Jesus, IMMEDIATELY AFTER the tribulation of THOSE days and right BEFORE the WRATH of God just as Matthew 24:1-31 teaches in SIMPLICITY when explained in CONTEXT. I have many in-depth sound Biblical Bible studies on this subject teaching in SIMPLICITY showing all sides of this highly controversial topic. TENET OF FAITH #13. 

I believe in the soon coming “WRATH” of Almighty God that will, without fail, come upon ALL who do NOT believe in Jesus and upon ALL, who are DISOBEDIENT to the commandments of God and the teachings of Jesus to keep themselves “PURE in the eyes of God”, according to John 3:36; Romans 1:18; Ephesians 5:6, and Hebrews 12:14 along with many other verses as well.

John 3:36.

“He that believes in the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes NOT the Son shall not see life, BUT the WRATH of God abides on him.” 

Romans 1:18.

“For the WRATH of God is revealed from heaven against ALL ungodliness and (ALL) unrighteousness of men (Or of ALL of mankind), who hold the truth in unrighteousness;”

In other words, it is impossible to please God without FAITH in His Son Jesus and being the only way to escape the WRATH of God. So no matter how godly or righteous an UNSAVED person might be they still have fallen short of the glory of God because they have SINNED at least one time in their life.

Ephesians 5:6.

“Let NO man DECEIVE you with vain words: for because of these things comes the WRATH of God upon the children of DISOBEDIENCE.”

Hebrews 12:14.

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, WITHOUT WHICH ( OR WITHOUT HOLINESS) NO man shall SEE the Lord:”

TENET OF FAITH #14.  

I believe that all FAITHFUL believers who are “OBEYING the teachings of Jesus under the NEW Covenant written in the New Testament” KEEPING themselves pure in the eyes of God are NOT APPOINTED to the WRATH of God according to 1 Thessalonians 5:9, and 1 Thessalonians 1:10.

1 Thessalonians 5:9.

“For God has NOT APPOINTED us to WRATH, BUT to obtain SALVATION by our Lord Jesus Christ,” 

1 Thessalonians 1:10.

“And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which DELIVERED us from the WRATH to come.”

TENET OF FAITH #15. 

I believe in the “SECOND COMING of Jesus” AND the WRATH of God to be revealed from heaven. In other words, at the SECOND coming of Jesus, our Lord will FIRST rapture his church or catch up his faithful believers in him, and reward them with eternal life and a new immortal glorified body of flesh and bone like Jesus has now. And then, SECONDLY, immediately after the rapture of the church, once we are safe with Jesus in the air, then Jesus will execute the WRATH upon all who do not believe on him and upon those Christians who have been deceived to return to a lifestyle of sin and who are living in a lifestyle of sin when Jesus returns. Please read the study “IS ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED BIBLICAL?”, but for now, please closely consider Revelation 22:12-15.

Revelation 22:12-15.

“And, behold, I COME quickly; (Speaking of the SECOND COMING of Jesus AND the WRATH of God) and my reward is WITH me, to give EVERY man according as his work shall be.

13. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 

14. Blessed are THEY (Speaking of ONLY those of us) that DO his commandments, that (Or so that) they may have right to the tree of LIFE, and may ENTER in through the gates into the city.

15. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whore mongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and WHOSOEVER loves and makes a lie.”

Now, to me, verse 15 seems to ALSO be referring to some Christians who do indeed LOVE God and His Son Jesus, but YET, they make a LIE by their FALSE teachings. For you see, the Greek word translated as the conjunction “and” between the word “loves” and “makes a lie” also means YET. In other words, this verse could be translated as “whosoever LOVES, but YET, make a LIE” will also not be allowed to enter into the city of God. And some church denominations LOVE to make a lie which they sincerely believe in the truth. They love what they have been taught by their church denomination so much that they will twist the Scriptures to their own DESTRUCTION as Peter warns us in 2 Peter 3:16-18.

 Hebrews 9:27-28, as well as many other verses of Scripture, clearly teach us that Jesus is coming AGAIN! And thus, we need to be READY!

Hebrews 9:27-28.

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the JUDGMENT: 

28.  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many, and (ONLY) unto THEM that LOOK for him shall he appear the SECOND TIME without sin unto SALVATION.”

TENET OF FAITH #16. 

I believe in “ETERNAL DESTRUCTION”, which is NOT to be confused with “ETERNAL TORTURE or TORMENT IN HELL” of ALL who do NOT believe in Jesus as the SON OF God who died for their sins. I believe in eternal DEATH or Almighty God DESTROYING both the body and the soul of ALL, who do NOT believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, who do believe in Jesus but they do NOT obey the gospel to endure unto the end, unsaved religious who do evil by following other gods, and those who remain dead in their sins. And thus, I believe that God will judge them unworthy to receive eternal life and they will be cast ALIVE into the lake of fire on the Day of Judgment, according to Mark 3:29, Matthew 25:46, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9, Revelation 19:20, and Revelation 20:11-15, plus many other verses as well.

Mark 3:29.

“But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost has never forgiveness, but is in danger of ETERNAL DAMNATION:” 

John 3:16-18.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVES in him should NOT PERISH, but have everlasting life. 

17.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18.  He that BELIEVES on him is NOT condemned: BUT he that believes NOT (In Jesus that he is the SON OF God who died for their sins) is CONDEMNED ALREADY, BECAUSE, because he has NOT BELIEVED in the NAME of the only begotten Son of God.”

Matthew 25:46.

“And these shall go away into EVERLASTING punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9.

“And to you who are troubled (Or persecuted) rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

8.  In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know NOT God, AND (Also on them) that obey NOT the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

9.  Who shall be punished with everlasting DESTRUCTION from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;”

Revelation 20:14.

“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second DEATH.”

Romans 6:23.

“For the wages of sin is DEATH, (And NOT eternal torture in flames of fire. Please see the studies “DOES REVELATION 20:10 TEACH ETERNAL TORTURE?” and “Is THE DOCTRINE OF HELL BIBLICAL?”) but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

TENET OF FAITH #17. 

I believe that Jesus is the “Son of MAN”  as well as being the SON OF God. In other words, I believe in the “VIRGIN BIRTH” of Jesus as the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD being born of a woman in like manner as all human beings, EXCEPT that Jesus was NOT conceived in the womb of a human woman by an EARTHLY father, but rather Jesus had a miraculous conception in the womb of the VIRGIN Mary. I believe that Jesus is the only unique begotten Son of God having a virgin birth without a human father as all other human beings according to Luke 1:26-35.

Luke 1:26-35.

“And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 

27.  To a VIRGIN espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.

28.  And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, you that are highly favored, the Lord is with you: blessed are you among women.

29.  And when she saw him, she was troubled by what he was saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

30.  And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for you have found favor with God.

31.  And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name JESUS.

32.  He shall be great, and shall be called the SON OF the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David.

33.  And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom, there shall be no end.

34.  Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

35.  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: THEREFORE, (Or for this very reason) also that holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called the SON OF God.”

TENET OF FAITH #18. 

I believe that Jesus was “ANOINTED” by Almighty God, according to Acts 10:38. And thus, I believe that the works Jesus did, he did through the power of the eternal Holy Spirit who dwelt in him according to John 14:10, Hebrews 9:14, plus many more passages of Scripture, some of which we have already covered under #5 where I believe that Jesus is THE CHRIST. But in this statement of faith I want to emphasize that just as Jesus was ANOINTED by the Holy Spirit DWELLING in him, I believe that WE now have been ENDUED with POWER from on High being given the SAME gift the Holy Spirit who NOW DWELLS in us as believers in Jesus to live our lives free from sin and do the SAME works Jesus did, according to Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4-8, 1 Corinthians 3:16, and Acts 10:38.

Acts 10:38.

“How God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was WITH him.”

John 14:10.

“Believe you not that I am in the Father and the FATHER in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the FATHER that DWELLS in me, HE does the works.”

Hebrews 9:14,

“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who THROUGH the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

Luke 24:49.

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry you in the city of Jerusalem, until you be ENDUED WITH POWER from on high.”

Acts 1:4-8.

“And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but WAIT for the PROMISE of the Father, which, he said, you have heard of me.

5.  For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

6.  When they, therefore, had come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

7.  And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power.

8.  But you shall RECEIVE POWER, AFTER that the Holy Ghost has come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

1 Corinthians 3:16,

“Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells IN you?”

John 14:12.

“Verily, verily (Or TRULY, TRULY), I say unto you, He that believes in me, the works that I do shall he do ALSO; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

TENET OF FAITH #19. 

I believe in “WATER BAPTISM” by submersion completely in water. Now while I do NOT believe that water baptism by submersion is a MUST WITHOUT FAIL in order to be saved, I DO strongly believe that every believer SHOULD OBEY, if at all possible, the ordinance of being baptized by submersion in water. I fully realize that some circumstance like death bed repentance to obtain salvation may prevent those believers from being baptized before they die and in some cases where believers may have a handicap preventing them to be submerged underwater because God looks upon the HEART. The EXCUSE that the thief on the cross was NOT baptized was BEFORE the resurrection of Jesus and the day of Pentecost when the actual preaching of the gospel of salvation BEGAN to be preached is NOT an excuse not to be baptized by submersion in water. After the church began on the day of Pentecost it is made clear in the Bible itself that BAPTISM in water was both taught and practiced, according to Acts 2:36-41 and Acts 10:47-48, plus many more verses as well.

Acts 2:36-41.

“Therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made that same Jesus, whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, WHAT SHALL WE DO?

38. Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, AND be BAPTIZED every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. (By BELIEVING and OBEYING the gospel of salvation)

41. Then they that gladly RECEIVED his word WERE BAPTIZED: and the same day there were added unto them (those who were already saved) about three thousand souls.”

Acts 10:47-48.

“Can any man FORBID water, that these should NOT be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

48. And he COMMANDED them to be BAPTIZED in the NAME of the Lord. Then they prayed (Or begged)  him to tarry for certain days.”

TENET OF FAITH #20.

I believe that the Holy Spirit is a “PERSON” and NOT just a mere IMPERSONAL force or power that is simply USED by Almighty God. For you see, the Holy Spirit has PERSONAL attributes that only a person or divine being can have. ONLY a person can be grieved or lied to as we are clearly taught in Ephesians 4:39, Acts 5:3, and many other verses of Scripture as well.

Ephesians 4:39.

“And GRIEVE NOT the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

Acts 5:3.

“But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?” 

TENET OF FAITH #21.  

I believe that the Holy Spirit is not only a person, but I believe that the “Holy Spirit is ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF. In other words, I believe that the Bible ITSELF teaches us that the Holy Spirit is ONE and the SELF-SAME being as the ONE TRUE ETERNAL GOD, who is SPIRIT. For you see, God is Spirit and there is just ONE Spirit. This truth is indeed in the Bible ITSELF, but it is not plainly stated as FACT in ONE single verse of Scripture like Jesus being the Christ, the SON of the living God. But rather, we have to COMPARE Scripture with Scripture in order to see this truth. 

Nonetheless, this truth that the Holy Spirit is the FATHER Himself is still yet clearly and plainly taught in SIMPLICITY, but some interpretation and simple LOGIC is needed. Please click on the link above for an in-depth study in God’s word with ALL of the verses of Scripture that clearly teach this truth that the Holy Spirit is Almighty God the FATHER, HIMSELF, and NOT a third person that is a separate person from the Father. But for now, simply ask yourself if Jesus has TWO heavenly Fathers? In other words, did BOTH the Holy Spirit AND the Father beget Jesus? You see, if they are two SEPARATE persons, then you must conclude that Jesus has TWO heavenly Fathers, according to Matthew 1:18-20, John 4:23,24, and John 20:17, plus many more verses of Scripture. And the Bible itself does NOT teach us that Jesus has two separate heavenly Fathers.

Matthew 1:18-20.

“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 

19.  Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. 

20.  But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, you son of David, fear not to take unto you, Mary as your wife: for that which is CONCEIVED in her is of the Holy Spirit.”

John 4:23,24.

“But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him. 

24.  God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

John 20:17.

“Jesus said unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.” 

Notice that Jesus does NOT say my Gods and my Fathers in the plural, but yet, Matthew 1:18-20 clearly teaches us that Jesus was CONCEIVED of the Holy Spirit. And Jesus clearly teaches us in John 4:23,24 that the Father is a SPIRIT. And according to Ephesians 4:3-6, there is just ONE Spirit, ONE Lord, and ONE God. And, according to Acts 2:36, Jesus was MADE Lord by his God and Father after the cross. So to me, it is IMPOSSIBLE for the Holy Spirit to be a so-called SEPARATE person FROM the Father as the doctrine of the Trinity CLAIMS.

TENET OF FAITH #22.  

I believe that all NINE “GIFTS of the Holy Spirit” are indeed for the church today. In other words, I do NOT believe that any of the gifts of the Holy Spirit have passed away with the early church or the first century Apostles as some church denominations falsely CLAIM. And I believe that we are to SEEK the gifts of the Holy Spirit and seek to be used by God, according to 1 Corinthians 12:1, 4-11.

1 Corinthians 12:1, 4-11.

“Now there are diversities of GIFTS, but the SAME Spirit…

…5.  And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

6.  And there are diversities of operations, but it is the SAME God which works all in all.

7.  But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit with all.

8.  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9.  To another faith by the SAME Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the SAME Spirit;

10.  To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

11.  But all these work that one and the SELF-SAME Spirit, dividing to every man severally as He will.” 

Now diverse or different kinds of tongues or speaking in many different languages is one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit to be used in edifying the body of Jesus Christ and is NOT referring to the speaking in other tongues when we are “Baptized in the Holy Spirit”. 

I believe that ALL believers have the Holy Spirit dwelling in them and that ALL believers can and should speak or pray in other tongues after they are FILLED with the Holy Spirit and then “STIR UP this gift of the Holy Spirit” that is in them to intercede for others. And also to praise God in their private devotions with God. And in a church service, the gift of tongues should ONLY be used when a Christian is present in that church service who has the gift to INTERPRET other tongues by the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, pray in other tongues quietly in intercession to not draw attention to yourself to seek the praise of MEN.  

TENET OF FAITH #23. 

I believe in the “BAPTISM of the Holy Spirit” and speaking in other tongues, which some call being FILLED with the Holy Spirit or RECEIVING the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38-39, and Acts 10:44-48, along with many other passages of Scripture.

Acts 2:4.

“And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

Acts 2:38-39.

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall RECEIVE the gift of the Holy Ghost. 

39.  For the PROMISE is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall CALL.”

Acts 10:44-48/

“While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all of them which heard the word. 

45.  And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, (Speaking of) as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

46.  For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

47.  Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

48.  And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they prayed (Or begged) him to tarry for certain days.”

Do NOT FEAR being filled with the Holy Spirit to speak in other tongue because you have heard that speaking in other tongues is of the Devil. You ALREADY have the TRUE Holy Spirit dwelling in you the moment you first believe. Those you may have heard of who speak in tongues by the power of Satan are NOT truly saved. So yes, Satan counterfeits God and in other religions of the world, they speak in false tongues that come from Satan. But YOU are born of God and the Holy Spirit is already dwelling in you. So do not be afraid to stir up the gift of speaking in other tongues. There are many BENEFITS in praying in other tongues. Please read the study I-4. STIR UP the Holy Spirit that is WITHIN You!

TENET OF FAITH #24.  

I believe in “DIVINE healing” and that EVERY believer in Jesus has been GIVEN the AUTHORITY to USE the name of Jesus and COMMAND any and every sickness or disease to leave their body and be healed. According to Hebrews 13:8, Jesus is the SAME yesterday, today, and forever. And Jesus came to do the WILL of his God and Father. And, according to Psalm 103:2,3, the WILL of Almighty God the Father is to HEAL all of your sicknesses and diseases, so never FORGET any of His BENEFITS that come with being saved.

Psalm 103:2,3. 

“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His BENEFITS: 

3.  Who forgives all your iniquities; who HEALS ALL of YOUR diseases;” 

TENET OF FAITH #25.  

I believe that ALL believers have been “GIVEN the AUTHORITY to USE the NAME of Jesus” to cast out devils and to HEAL the sick. According to John 14:12-14, Jesus said the we shall do the SAME works the Jesus did. The Greek word translated as ask also means COMMAND. In other words, whatever we COMMAND in the NAME of Jesus, then Jesus will do it if what we command is the WILL of Almighty God the Father. And healing is most definitely always the WILL of Almighty God the Father.

John 14:12-14.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes in me, the WORKS that I do he shall do ALSO; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 

13.  And whatsoever you shall ask (Or COMMAND) in my NAME, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 

14.  If YOU shall ask (Or COMMAND) any thing in my NAME, I will do it.”

TENET OF FAITH #26.  

I believe that Jesus has set us FREE from the bondage of sin and we can live “FREE from SIN” THROUGH the power of the Holy Spirit who DWELLS in us. There are many verses of Scripture that clearly teach us to NOT sin, but yet, I was WRONGLY taught the ONLY Jesus can live without sin, because Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh. And that caused me to wrongly think “How can I follow the steps of Almighty God Himself who did not sin even one sin when I am only human?” Something inside of me said to me that Jesus is NOT Almighty God Himself. And that is when I dug deeper into the Scriptures to learn from the Holy Spirit that Jesus overcame the temptation to sin THROUGH the power of the eternal Spirit dwelling in him, according to Hebrew 9:14.

Hebrew 9:14,15.

“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who THROUGH the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 

15.  And for this CAUSE he is the mediator of the New Testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. ”

And the sound Biblical TRUTH increased my FAITH in God DWELLING in me to empower me to follows the steps of Jesus who did no sin, according to 1 Peter 2:21,22.

“For even hereunto were you CALLED: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an EXAMPLE, that you should FOLLOW his STEPS: 

22.  Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:” 

TENET OF FAITH #27.  

I believe that when a Christian dies physically that their “SOUL & Spirit goes immediately to heaven” to be in the presence of Almighty God and His Son Jesus to await the first resurrection. For you see, it is at the FIRST resurrection at the second coming of Jesus that the dead in Christ and we which are ALIVE at his coming will be clothed upon with their new glorified immortal body of flesh and bone like Jesus has now. The Bible itself assures us in that when we die as Christians, we immediately are PRESENT with the Lord in heaven.

2 Corinthians 5:8,9.

“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the BODY, and to be PRESENTS with the Lord. 

9  Wherefore, we LABOR, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.”

So then, when FAITHFUL obedient Christians die, then our bodies goes to the grave and our SOUL leaves our body and goes to be present with our Lord up in heaven. But the soul of the UNSAVED go into hell and they KNOW that all hope is lost forever. So then, once a person dies there is no more WORK or labor to change where your souls goes to. And that is why we ought to be doing our best to PERSUADE the unsaved to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. TENET OF FAITH #28. 

I believe that the old serpent, that old red dragon called the “Devil and Satan is a REAL being” who is God’s enemy that goes about to deceive the whole world. Jesus called him by his NAME or TITLE saying, Satan you get behind me. The word Satan means adversary or ENEMY. And when Jesus commanded the devils to come out of people, then REAL evil spirits came of of those people. And Satan is the prince of the devils, he is their leader and king over them. But yet some Christians do NOT believe that the old serpent, that old red dragon called the Devil and Satan is a REAL living being, according to Revelation 12:7-9.

Revelation 12:7-9.

“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 

8.  And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 

9.  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which DECEIVES the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” 

So then, to me, Satan is Lucifer the anointed cherub or angel and he is the king over the FALLEN angels, according to Revelation 9:11.

Revelation 9:11.

“And they had a king over them, which is the ANGEL of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue has his name Apollyon.”

TENET OF FAITH #29. 

I again believe what the Bible ITSELF clearly, and plainly STATES, as FACT in SIMPLICITY with NO interpretation needed to understand. AND what the Bible clearly and plainly teaches by comparing Scripture with Scripture is easily understood with simple logic and common sense, which does NOT CONTRADICT other parts of God’s CLEAR, PLAIN and SIMPLE words stated a FACT in SIMPLICITY with NO interpretation needed.

I could probably add a hundred more things that I believe are clearly taught in the Bible itself. But, I have only listed the above 29 statements of faith, because I myself believe that these 29 statements of faith cover the basic core beliefs of being a SOUND Biblical Christian that all true Christ OUGHT to believe as “essential” to our faith. They are all not REQUIRED to be saved, but they are “essential” to be the light of the world that God INTENDS us to be. 

To say this another, many other church doctrines that other church denominations REQUIRE as being essential church doctrines that MUST be believed in order to be saved should NOT be listed as ESSENTIALS of faith. For example, I myself personally believe that Jesus is the word made FLESH, according to John 1:14, but I do NOT believe that Jesus is “GOD INCARNATE in THE FLESH”. Please read the study for all the Scriptures that teach is in SIMPLICITY that Jesus is FULFILLMENT of the Scriptures and that Yahweh is the one who PERFORMS His own spoken word of prophecy to bring it to pass. There is a BIG difference between God incarnate or God becoming His Son and remaining Himself in the flesh, than God performing His own word of PROPHECY to fulfill His prophecy. And it affects the power and the authority of many Christians who are taught wrongly that God the Son, became flesh or God Himself became flesh.

SECTION TWO

FALSE CHURCH DOCTRINES THAT I DO NOT BELIEVE!

Above in section one are the 29 tenets of faith that I MYSELF MUST believe, because they have been revealed to me by the Holy Spirit as being the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. In other words, I can no longer believe the church doctrines that are based on verses of Scripture taken OUT of their CONTEXT and those doctrines CONTRADICT other verses of Scripture. Now again, some of the above 29 statements of faith are indeed ESSENTIAL to every believer’s faith in order for a person to be a TRUE born-again new creature in Jesus Christ, while some of the other above listed 29 statements of faith SHOULD be believed, but they are NOT must, without fail, absolute have to be believed in order to become a born-again new creature in Jesus Christ. 

For example, a Christian will still receive eternal life in the world to come even if they do NOT believe in divine healing. Now, they may not receive the BENEFITS of divine healing in this PRESENT world, but just because a Christian does NOT believe in divine healing does NOT mean that they are NOT saved. Also, Christians may believe in a PRE-tribulation rapture, but that does not mean that they are not saved. In other words, these are MY statements of faith, which I truly believe with all my heart are clearly and plainly taught in SIMPLICITY in the WHOLE word of God, but you do not have to believe them ALL in order to be saved.

But on the other hand, I MYSELF MUST believe all of the above 29 statements of faith and even more because the Holy Spirit has revealed to ME that they are indeed the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God, but at the same time, ALL of the above 29 statements of faith are NOT a MATTER of salvation. However, just as the Holy Spirit BEARS WITNESS to me that I am saved, so also does the Holy Spirit bear witness to ME that all of the above 29 statements of faith are the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of God. 

Now, if you DISAGREE, then I strongly IMPLORE you to search out the WHOLE matter for yourself by reading the in-depth studies that I have written on each or the 29 tenets or statements of faith. Please click on any link highlighted in blue type that is underlined to read the related studies. With that being said, let us move on to section two.

         WHAT THE BIBLE ITSELF DOES NOT TEACH!

What I MYSELF do NOT BELIEVE to be the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.

In this section of my tenets of faith I will LETTER with the letters of the alphabet “A. B. C.” and so forth as the way that I will “number” the list of what I do NOT believe that the WHOLE word of God clearly and plainly teaches us in SIMPLICITY. 

And ALL of what is LETTERED below are NOT essential doctrines that must, without fail, be believed in order to be saved even though some church denominations dogmatically demand that you are not a true Christian if you DENY some of the church doctrines list below in section two. Also, if YOU yourself do INDEED believe SOME of the doctrines below, please understand that this does NOT mean that you are NOT saved. For you see, I myself USED to believe some of the doctrines below and I KNOW that I KNOW I was saved during the time that I myself was being deceived by these man-made doctrines listed by LETTERS below.

So again, please understand that I am NOT dogmatically demanding that you MUST believe everything that I myself have come to believe in the above 29 statements of MY faith, which I sincerely believe are what God INTENDS us to believe. But rather, I am merely pointing out to you, my readers and seekers of the TRUTH, that the doctrines of the mainstream churches below in section two are already highly controversial subjects between DIFFERENT church denominations. 

Also, please understand that section two is just a LIST ONLY or church doctrine with no Scriptures quoted. So then, for all the SOUND BIBLICAL EVIDENCE for WHY I myself can longer believe some of these church doctrines and could never believe the rest of these church doctrines listed below, then please click on the highlighted blue LINK. And a new window or tab will open to take you to all of the related studies exposing the errors of INTERPRETATION upon which that particular teaching is based. 

Now as for ME, I MYSELF MUST hold fast to ALL of what I have come to believe listed in the ABOVE section of 29 tenets of faith. AND I must also hold fast to ALL of what I have come NOT to believe that are listed BELOW as being church doctrines. For you see, it was the Holy Spirit who has led me out of those false doctrines to believe what I have come to believe after THOROUGHLY searching the word of TRUTH for ALL of the evidence that SOUNDLY supports all of what I teach on this website here at AMatterOfTruth.com

Please understand that this does NOT mean that I already know all there is to know about God’s word. But what it does mean is that I have considered ALL the verses that are related to each tenet of faith as opposed to “cherry-picking” select verses out of the context to conclude what I believe. For you see, to ME, every Bible doctrine must be LOGICAL and have NO contradictions with any other verse of Scriptures in the Bible. So if you can give me chapter and verse of any Scripture that contradicts anything that I teach, then I am always open the hear your interpretation of that verse of Scripture.

The following church doctrines below are what I do NOT believe.

A.  I NO LONGER believe in the man-made doctrine of the PRE-tribulation rapture of the church.

B.  I NO LONGER believe in the man-made doctrine of ETERNAL TORTURE or TORMENT in HELL

C.  I NO LONGER believe in the man-made doctrine of ORIGINAL SIN that falsely teaches we are BORN with SIN and therefore we must be baptized as babies in order to be saved if one dies as a baby.

D.  I do NOT believe the man-made doctrine of baby BAPTISM that saves a person just because they were baptized as a baby. For you see, to me, all babies are INNOCENT before God, until the age of accountability that God Himself holds them accountable.

E.  I do NOT believe in the man-made doctrine of UNIVERSALISM, which FALSELY teaches that ALL of mankind will EVENTUALLY be SAVED.

F.  I do NOT believe in the Calvinistic / Baptist man-made doctrine of ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED, which FALSELY teaches that a true born again Christian is ETERNALLY SECURE and can NEVER LOSE their salvation no matter what.

G.  I NO LONGER believe in the man-made doctrine of the TRINITY, which took centuries to be formed and made to be accepted by the threat of death and excommunication from the church if it was denied.

H.  I do NOT believe in the man-made doctrine of ONENESS Pentecostalism or MODALISM that FALSELY teaches that Jesus himself IS ALMIGHTY God the FATHER HIMSELF, as in, being ONE and the SELF-SAME being.

I.  I do NOT believe that Christians MUST, without fail, KEEP the weekly SABBATH day lest a Christian sins.

J.  I do NOT believe that Christians MUST keep ALL the Law of Moses in order to be saved, nor in order to please God. Thus I do NOT believe ANY Sabbatarian group like the Seventh Day Adventist, the 119 Ministries, or any Hebrew Roots Movement fellowship are teaching the TRUTH of the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ. But rather, I believe that ALL seventh day of the week Sabbath keeping churches are teaching ANOTHER Jesus and ANOTHER gospel that the Apostle Paul WARNS us about many times in the New Testament.

K. I do NOT believe the teachings of MORMONISM are sound Biblical teachings, but I will not judge Mormonism to dogmatically demand that not one single Mormon is saved and truly loves Jesus.

L. I do NOT believe the teachings of the Jehovah’s Witnesses are sound Biblical teachings, but I will not judge those who follow the Watch-Tower teachings. Nor will I dogmatically demand that not one single Jehovah’s Witness is saved and truly loves Jesus as some in the mainstream churches do, calling all who do not believe in the doctrine of the Trinity a CULT.

M. I do NOT believe the teachings of ANY FORM CALVINISM or predeterminism are sound Biblical teachings.

N.  I do NOT believe in the doctrine of the IMMORTAL SOUL OF MAN.

O.  I do NOT believe in the Roman Catholic doctrine of PURGATORY.

P.  I do NOT believe in the Roman Catholic doctrine of PRAYING FOR THE DEAD.

Q.  I do NOT believe in the Roman Catholic doctrine of PRAYING TO THE SAINTS.

R.  I do NOT believe in the Roman Catholic doctrine of PRAYING TO MARY.

S.  I do NOT believe in the Roman Catholic doctrine of PRAYING THE ROSARY.

T.  I do NOT believe in the Roman Catholic doctrine of TRANSUBSTANTIATION.

U.  I do NOT believe in the Roman Catholic doctrine of PETER BEING THE FIRST POPE.

V.  I do NOT believe in the Roman Catholic doctrine that they ALONE are the ONE TRUE CHURCH.

W. I do NOT believe the teaching that the Holy Spirit is an IMPERSONAL FORCE or POWER that is used by God and that the Holy Spirit is NOT a person or divine being.

X. I do NOT believe the teachings of FULL PRETERISM, nor PARTIAL PRETERISM.

Y. I do NOT believe that the Apostle Paul is a FALSE Apostle or a FALSE teacher as some Sabbath keeping Christians claim.

Z. I do NOT believe that Almighty God SENDS sickness and disease on people to teach them something or that God is the cause of all EVIL as some claim.

And I also QUESTION ANY church that makes the CLAIM that THEY ALONE have the TRUTH and that you MUST be a member of THEIR church in order to be SAVED. To ME, any church that makes such a CLAIM is a borderline CULT. And IF they practice SHUNNING to try and keep their members in line or for even QUESTIONING THEIR doctrine, then I MYSELF question their TRUE motives, particularly if they make it mandatory to pay TITHES ONLY to their church denomination.

Also, I am now convinced and believe more than ever that ISLAM is THE MARK of the BEAST!

This document is STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION for God is continuing to show me teachings that I have never even heard of before that do NOT AGREE with the WHOLE word of Almighty God Yahweh the Father and creator of all things. For example, the age of the Holy Spirit where a man in Korea believes he is Jesus and we we now in the age of the Holy Spirit.
