Who is Not the TRUE Jesus?

Chapter 2.

WHO suffered and died on the Cross?

We all know and agree that Jesus suffered and died on the cross for our sins. And not only for our sins, but also for the sins of the WHOLE world. And this was done so that WHOSOEVER of any person in the whole world who BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God might be saved.

But WHO is the Jesus who suffered and died on the cross and was resurrected from the dead after three days according to the Scriptures? For you see, the Apostle Paul warns us about ANOTHER Jesus who was being received as being the TRUE Jesus, but that Jesus was NOT the Jesus that the Apostles of Jesus preached.

Please read 1 Corinthians 11:3,4.

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 

2 Corinthians 11:4,  For if he that comes preaches ANOTHER Jesus, whom WE have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, (Speaking of the spirit of the ANTICHRIST) which ye have not received, or ANOTHER gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him.” 

Paul is not talking about a different PERSON than Jesus. But rather, Paul is talking about WHO Jesus TRULY is compared to what the Apostles do NOT TEACH concerning who Jesus is.

In other words, there were Christians that lived in the time that Paul lived who were WRONGLY teaching that God did NOT come and dwell in the flesh of Jesus. But rather, those Christians accepted ANOTHER Jesus whom the wrongly taught was Almighty God the Father Himself in the flesh.

To say this another way, those Christians taught that Almighty God Himself BECAME His own Son. And thus, to THEM, Jesus and the Father were one and the self-same BEING. And to explain what they meant, they argued that God created Himself a human BODY and then God clothed Himself in that body.

But that is NOT the Jesus that the Apostles of Jesus teach in the Scriptures. Rather, that was a false teaching that. And around that same time another false teaching also arose.

To me, it is not clear on the exact year that this second false teaching arose. It may have been shortly after the original Apostles of Jesus died, that yet ANOTHER Jesus began to be preached in two different views, Modalism and Trinitarianism.

And that Jesus is still being taught today as church tradition, just as the OTHER view of Jesus, which is supposedly the Father Himself who became the Son. Both views are church TRADITION, and neither are sound Biblical teachings.

In other words, it appears to me, that the doctrine of the Trinity was developed AFTER the false doctrine of Modalism, which is known as the doctrine of Oneness Pentecostal Christians.

So then, the question at hand is WHO dies on the cross?

#1. Did Almighty God the Father Himself die on the cross?

#2. Did a God the Son die on the cross?

#3. Did a pre-existing Son of God die on the cross?

#4. Did the ANOINTED human Son of God die on the cross?

What does the Bible ITSELF teach us? In other words, what do the Apostles of Jesus teach us in SIMPLICITY in the New Testament as to WHO died on the cross for the sins of the world? Notice that when Jesus returns, he is still called the Son of MAN!

Luke 18:8.  

“I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of MAN comes, shall he find faith on the earth?”

Notice that from a young child to the coming of Jesus and even to the END of the 1000-year reign of Jesus, the Son of God is always called the Son of MAN.

Luke 2:52. 

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”

How is it even possible for and Almighty God or a God the Son to INCREASE in wisdom, stature, and favor WITH God?

Luke 4:4. 

“And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That MAN shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.”

And was Jesus not a MAN? The Scriptures say that Jesus was a MAN all through the Bible, both in the Old Testament PROPHECIES and in the New Testament. And thus, I believe that Jesus INCLUDED himself in this verse of Scripture. And the Son of MAN now LIVES eternally by the word of God.

Luke 22:69.  

“Hereafter the Son of MAN shall sit on the right hand of the power of God.”

But yet, Trinitarian Christians teach ANOTHER Jesus. They teach that God the Son left the side of God to become a man, but still remain fully God. And then after God the Son died on the cross, God the Son returned to heaven to sit on the right hand of God, which was ALWAYS his place from eternity past.

But that is NOT what the WHOLE word of God teaches.

John 3:3.  

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a MAN is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Yes, Jesus is speaking about every human must be regenerated by the Spirit, but Jesus is also talking about himself. Keep reading the context.

John. 3:5.

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a MAN is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

Now compare being born of water and of the Spirit with 1 John 5:6-9 WITHOUT the ADDED verse 7 called the Comma Johanneum controversy.

And then we will come back to the CONTEXT of John 3:5-8 where Jesus says a MAN must be BORN-AGAIN so that you can see that Jesus was BORN-AGAIN at his resurrection to become the FIRSTFRUITS unto God, according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28.

1 John 5:6,8,9.

“This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; NOT by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. 

1 John 5:7. (Again, this verse was ADDED extremely LATE to only a few Greek Manuscripts)

1 John 5:8.  And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 

1 John 5:9.  If we receive the witness of men, (To wrongly believe in ANOTHER Jesus who is NOT the Jesus that the Apostles of Jesus teach) the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he has testified of His Son.”

Now let us go back and read the context of being BORN-AGAIN.

John 3:13-15.

“And no MAN has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of MAN which is in heaven. (And the Son of MAN ascended up into heaven to his God and Father on that SAME morning that God resurrected the Son of MAN from the dead, according to John 20:17. Notice that Jesus said do NOT TOUCH me BECAUSE I have not yet ASCENDED to my God and to your God, to my Father and your Father. So then, the same God and father of us is also the God and Father of Jesus. Then that SAME day of the resurrection at evening time, the now GLORIFIED Son of MAN descended back down to the earth to show himself alive for forty days. Now notice in Luke 24:26-40, in the EVENING that SAME day that in the MORNING Jesus to Mary Magdalene NOT to TOUCH him, he almost demands for his disciple to HANDLED him, put their fingers in the nail prints in his hands and put their hand in his side where he was pieced with the spear and WATER and BLOOD ran out)

John 3:14.  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so MUST the Son of MAN be lifted up: 

John 3:15.  That whosoever believes in him (Speaking of the TRUE Jesus, the Son of MAN who suffered and died on the cross for you sin and the sins of the WHOLE world) should not perish, but have eternal life.”

John 8:40.  

“But now you seek to kill me, a MAN that has told you the TRUTH, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.” 

And the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church martyred many Christians who contended for the TRUE faith and rejected the OTHER Jesus that many other Christians blindly accepted. Can you not see that God ORDAINED and ANOINTED a MAN to suffer and die on the cross for the sins of the world?

John 15:8-14.

“Herein is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples. 

John 15:9.  As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue you in my love. 

John 15:10.  If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; (And Jesus gave us just TWO commandments. And by walking after the Spirit to walk in love, we fulfill ALL of the law of Yahweh) even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. 

John 15:11  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 

John 15:12  This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you. 

John 15:13.  Greater love hath no MAN than this, that a MAN lay down his life for his friends. 

John 15:14.  You are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you.

John 1:51.

“And he said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter, you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon (Or more correctly translated, at the coming of Jesus, Satan and his angels will be fighting AGAINST) the Son of MAN.”

John 6:27.  

“Labour not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of MAN shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father SEALED.”

This is the SAME Greek word that in used in Ephesians 1:13,14 whereby we have been SEALED with the Holy Spirit dwelling in us.

John 6:46.  

“Not that any MAN has seen the Father, save (Or except for) he which is of God, he has seen the Father.”

Over and over, all through the Scriptures, Jesus is clearly identified as being a MAN. No where in the entire Bible is Jesus called God the Son. Jesus is always referred to as being a MAN who was APPROVED by God, ANOINTED, by God, and ORDAINED by God.

So then, the TRUE Jesus is the Son of MAN who his God and Father GLORIFIED.

John 13:31.  

“Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of MAN glorified, and God is glorified in him.”

John 16:30.  

“Now are we sure that you know all things, and need not that any man should ask you: by this we BELIEVE that you came forth from God.”

Trinitarian Christians use this verse OUT of its context to try to prove that God the Son came forth from God down out of heaven to be incarnated in the flesh.

But the TRUTH of the matter is that the CONTEXT all the way from John 14:1 to this verse in chapter 16 is speaking about the Son of MAN going to the Father or PROCEEDING FORTH to be seated at the right hand of his God and Father. And the Greek word that is translated as “came forth” also means to PROCEED FORTH.

Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines this Greek word translated incorrectly as “came forth”, in my opinion.

ἐξέρχομαι

exerchomai

ex-er’-khom-ahee

From G1537 and G2064; to issue (literally or figuratively): – come-(forth, out), depart (out of), escape, get out, go (abroad, away, forth, out, thence), proceed (forth), spread abroad.

So then, in my opinion, I believe a more correct translation of John 16:26-30 in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God should be as follows.

A more correct translation of John 16:26-30.

“At that day you shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: 

John 16:27.  For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I PROCEED FORTH BEFORE God. (Or that I go to the Father to be glorified with His LIKENESS, according to Psalm 17:15)

John 16:28.  I PROCEED FORTH from the Father, and am come into the world AGAIN. (Speaking of the Son of MAN descending back down to the earth after he is GLORIFIED with his new immortal body) I leave the world and go to the Father. 

John 16:29.  His disciples said unto him, Lo, now you are speaking plainly, and are not speaking a proverb. 

John 16:30.  Now are we sure that you know all things, and needs not that any man should ask you: by this (Or by what you have told to us more clearly, which you began telling us in John 14:1, when you said, I go to prepare a place for you) we BELIEVE that you PROCEED FORTH by God.”

Now let us read the very FIRST gospel of SALVATION that was preached by the Apostle Peter and 3,000 Jews were saved. Keep in mind that the Jews are extremely monotheistic.

And they believe that the Only TRUE God is one God in ONE person, who alone is the Father. Pay very close attention to the details of this first GOSPEL message that was preached.

Acts 2:22-38.  

“You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a MAN APPROVED of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him (The ANOINTED Son of MAN, Jesus) in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

Acts 2:23.  Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, (Meaning that Yahweh PROPHESIED for this to happen the way He SAID it would happen) you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: (A CORE Christians belief that must be believed) 

Acts 2:24.  Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. 

Acts 2:25.  For David speaks concerning him, (Or David, inspired by God, prophesied about the Messiah JOINING  God on His throne) I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: (In other words, God opened the eyes of Jesus to know and understand that this prophecy was speaking of him so that he would endure the cross and not fail or faint)

Acts 2:26.  Therefore, did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: (The Son of MAN, Jesus understood the prophecies of the JOY set before him to endure the cross)

Acts 2:27.  Because You will not leave my soul in hell, neither will You suffer Your Holy One to see corruption. (Again, Jesus held fast to the PROMISES of his God and Father who promised him that he would be GLORIFIED by Yahweh for his obedience to do all of his God and Father’s Will)

Acts 2:28.  You hast made known to me the ways of life; You shall make me full of joy with Your countenance. (This is the TRUE sound Biblical meaning of John 17:5. Jesus understood the PROMISE of his glory which he would have before the world to BE)

Acts 2:29.  Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day. 

Acts 2:30.  Therefore. being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the FLESH, He would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 

Acts 2:31.  He seeing this before, spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his FLESH did see corruption. (Again, another CORE belief in Christianity that must be believed)

Acts 2:32.  This Jesus (Speaking of the MAN APPROVED by God in verse 22) has God raised up, whereof WE all are witnesses. (Not even one of the Apostles of God give any witness to a so-called God the Son coming down from heaven and being incarnated in the flesh to remain fully God the Son at the SAME time, having two natures, one divine, and one human, DURING the DAYS of his FLESH)

Acts 2:33.  Therefore, being by the right hand of God EXALTED, (How can a FULLY God the Son be EXALTED? NO! It was the HUMAN Son of God that his God and Father HIGHLY EXALTED, according to Philippians 2:8-11) and having RECEIVED of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, (After the cross and resurrection, which is when the Son of MAN was GLORIFIED with the LIKENESS of God, according to Psalm 17:15) he has shed forth this, which you now see and hear. 

Acts 2:34.  For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit you on my right hand, (Or come and join me on my throne and sit at my right hand)

Acts 2:35.  UNTIL I make your foes your footstool. (One on the things that Trinitarian Christians and the Oneness Pentecostal Christians have not yet understood in that the reign of Jesus will come to an END when the 1000-year reign is finished. Then Jesus will step down from reigning over the earth and COMMIT to ruling of God’s kingdom back into the hands of his God and Father, according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28)

Acts 2:36.  Therefore, let all the house of Israel KNOW ASSUREDLY, that God has MADE that same Jesus, (Speaking of the MAN APPROVED by God in verse 22 and EXALTED after the resurrection) whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ. (Or more correctly translated, God has MADE that same Jesus both Lord and Savior, according to Acts 5:31,32)

Acts 2:37.  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the Apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 

Acts 2:38.  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 

Acts 2:39.  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 

Act 2:40  And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 

Acts 2:41.  Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 

Acts 2:42.  And they continued steadfastly in the Apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” 

So then, clearly, there is NOTHING in the GOSPEL that says that we MUST believe that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh or you will remain dead in your sins. But rather, the TRUE Jesus, it the HUMAN Son of God, whom his God and Father HIGHLY EXALTED to be MADE Lord and Savior after the cross and resurrection.
