Does the TRUE God Judge UNJUSTLY?

All Christians agree that Almighty God inspired men of old to write the Scriptures in the Old Testament. And most Christians believe that the New Testament is always considered to be “Scripture”. In other words, the whole Bible written in the ORIGINAL text is considered to be inspired by Almighty God the Creator.

However, most Christians know and understand that TRANSLATIONS of the Bible can and do have some errors in some verses of Scripture. And to me, Job 1:16 has been “incorrectly” translated to WRONGLY capitalize the English word “God”.

For you see, the Hebrew word “Elohim” means God, god, gods, goddess, angels, and mighty.

Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the Hebrew word “Elohim”.

‘ĕlôhı̂ym

el-o-heem’

Plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative: – angels, X exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty.

Total KJV occurrences: 2601.

And to me, the CONTEXT makes it blatantly obvious that the god who actually sent fire down from heaven to murder Job’s family, is Satan, the god of this present world, according to 2 Corinthians 4:3,4.

For you see, the TRUE God does not judge and neither chastises WITHOUT a just CAUSE, according to the context in Job chapters 1 and 2.

And thus, in regard to Job himself living in sin, it was NOT Job himself living in sin that caused the door to be opened to allow Satan to oppress Job, by Satan oppressing his family that WAS living in sin of drunkenness. 

Job 1:1,2,12.

“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil…

…Job 1:8. And the LORD said unto Satan, have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?…

…Job 1:12. And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he has is in your power; only upon himself put not forth your hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.”

So then, according to the context, Job himself was JUDGED by Almighty God to be righteous. And thus, Satan had no power or legal right to oppress Job himself.

But Job’s family was living in SIN by partying and getting drunk pretty much on a daily basis, or at least quite frequently as if it was perfectly alright and not a sin.

And to me, that is why God specifically told Satan to not lay a hand on Job himself, but let Satan oppress Job’s family that was living in sin of drunkenness, according to Isaiah 5:11-13, Luke 21:34-36, Romans 13:13, and Galatians 5:21, plus other verses of Scripture concerning reveling or partying as a reason to get drunk.  

Isaiah 5:11.  

“Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!” 

Galatians 5:19-21.

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 

Galatians 5:20. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 

Galatians 5:21. Envying, murders, DRUNKENNESS, REVELING (Or PARTYING to get drunk or have inappropriate sex), and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

And Job’s family was indeed partying and getting drunk. And thus, they were living in a lifestyle of sin to become the children of the devil, according to 1 John 3:7-10. Let us go ahead and read those four verses of Scripture.

1 John 3:8-10.

“Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 

1 John 3:8. He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 3:9. Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 

1 John 3:10. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”

So then, even if you are a true born-again Christian, you can still remove God’s hedge of protection from the enemy, Satan, the Devil, by living in sin.

And even when Christians are not living in sin and have no unconfessed sin, the spirit of FEAR can still open the door to allow Satan to oppress them with sickness, disease, stealing their goods, and causing tragedies such as storms and accidents.

For you see, the reason for why Satan was allowed to oppress Job with boils, and pain in his body was that Job GREATLY FEARED some terrible thing would happen to him because his children were living in sin.

Job 3:25,26.

“For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. 

Job 3:26. I was not in safety, (Or more correctly translated, Job is saying that he was not able to quiet down his fear that gripped him suddenly) neither had I rest, (Or neither di Job have any peace in his mind) neither was I quiet; (In other words, all that Job thought on was that THING that he FEARED) yet (Or more correctly, and THUS) trouble came.”

Fear is one of the weapons of the enemy Satan, the Devil. And our defensive shield against fear is FAITH and keeping our MIND STAYED of Almighty God and His Son, Jesus.

Isaiah 26:3,4. Correctly translated.

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusteth in YOU. (As in, he trusts in BOTH Yahweh the Father and in Yah Yahweh, His now GLORIFIED human Son, Jesus)

Isaiah 26:4. Trust you in the Yahweh for ever: for in the Yah Yahweh (The NEW NAME that Almighty God GAVE to His now glorified human Son, Jesus) is everlasting strength:”

So then, we can see that it was Job himself who removed the hedge of protection around him due to the THING that he greatly FEARED.

But even then, Almighty God Himself would NOT chastise Job WITHOUT a JUST CAUSE.

Job 2:1-7.

“AGAIN there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before Yahweh. (In other words, the ACCUSER of the brethren, Satan, the Devil, came AGAIN on another day to SEEK if he could devour Job himself)

Job 2:2. And Yahweh said unto Satan, From where do you come? And Satan answered Yahweh, and said, from going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 

Job 2:3. And Yahweh said unto Satan, Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a PERFECT and an UPRIGHT MAN, one that fears God, and eschews evil? And still he holds fast his integrity, although you moved me against him, to destroy him WITHOUT CAUSE. 

Job 2:4. And Satan answered Yahweh, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man has will he give for his life. 

Job 2:5. Wherefore, put forth Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse You to Your face. 

Job 2:6. And Yahweh said unto Satan, Behold, he is in your hand; howbeit, do not take his life. 

Job 2:7. So Satan went forth from the presence of Yahweh, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.”

So then, clearly, it was NOT Yahweh Himself who oppressed Job with boils and great physical pian in Job’s body. And NEITHER did Yahweh Elohim send FIRE down from heaven to murder Job’s family.

The WHOLE point of allowing Satan to oppress Job is for Satan to CONSIDER that a MAN can be PERFECT and UPRIGHT before Almighty God. For you see, Job is a FIGURE of Jesus, a PERFECT amd upright MAN that Yahweh JUDGED to be RIGHTEOUS and NOT worthy of DEATH.

In other words, Yahweh AGREED with Satan’s accusation, SKIN for SKIN to later say back to Satan, you said a LIFE for a LIFE. Therefore, CONSIDER now My PERFECT and upright MAN, Jesus, who laid down his LIFE for the sins of the world.

So then, you can now see how the word “CONSIDER” does not have to dogmatically mean that Yahweh was POINTING Satan to Job to REVEAL to Satan that Job himself removed Yahweh’s hedge of protection because of the THING that Job greatly FEARED.

But rather, Yahweh was simply saying that EVERY human being is in your hand to TEMPT to SIN. So give it you best shot and see if you can TEMPT Job to SIN.

Now, Satan tried tempting Job to sin but failed. And thus, Satan tried a DIFFERENT weapon against Job and he was able to get Job to greatly FEAR a THING and that THING that Satan got Job to great FEAR came upon Jod BECAUSE of Job’s FEAR.

So then, my conclusion is that Job 1:16 was INCORRECTLY translated, and it should read as follows.

Job 1:16, CORRECTLY translated!

“While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of god is fallen from heaven, and has burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell you.”

And that is the TRUE sound Biblical God intended meaning of Job 1:16 when it is correctly translated and correctly interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.

Now, Christadelphian Christians do NOT believe that Satan, the Devil, is a REAL literal BEING. And the Christadelphian Christians ALSO wrongly believe, as well as, some other church denominations, that God created EVIL and that Yahweh is the CAUSE of all of the EVIL in the world. 

Plus, Christadelphian Christians, as well as other church denominations such as the Roman Catholic Church, sincerely, but wrongly believe in the FALSE doctrine or original sin. And thus, they build their other man-made doctrines upon the false doctrine of every person being born with a so-called sinful NATURE.

Again, once Christians understand the REASON that Yahweh CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus, was to have DOMINION over the work of Yahweh’s hands. 

And that you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels. 

Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become a Lord, a King, and a God, to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
