This is a VERSE-by-VERSE study of chapter 5 in the Book of Revelation.
This verse-by-verse study on the Book of Revelation is from or with a Biblical Unitarian view of Jesus. In other words, verses like Revelation 1:8 are interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God and NOT in the TRADITIONAL church interpretation.
To say this another way, it is NOT Jesus who is the one speaking in Revelation 1:8. But rather, it is Almighty God the Father speaking in Revelation 1:8.

Let us begin chapter 4 by reading just the first verse because there is a lot in that verses that some Christians read right over and do not see. And other Christians incorrectly interpret Revelation 4:1 to teach the false doctrine of a PRE-tribulation rapture of the church.
Revelation 4:1. “AFTER this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the FIRST voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show you things which must be HEREAFTER.”
Some teachers of the pre-tribulation view teach that this verse as a type or figure of the rapture of the church.
Now, while it is true that Revelation 1:4 is indeed a figure of the rapture of the church, it is NOT true that there will be a pre-TRIBULATION rapture of the church. For you see, there are actually SEVEN figures of the rapture of the church in the book of Revelation, which we will look at when we get to them in this verse-by-verse study.
For now, here is HOW pre-tribulation Christians “interpret” Revelation 4:1. They first emphasize the first two words, “AFTER THIS”, and then they ask the question, “AFTER WHAT?” And before you can form an answer in your mind, they answer the question for you, TELLING you what it means.
In other words, they tell you their INTERPRETATION saying, “Why, after the seven churches of course!”
Do you see how deception plants a seed of “thought” in your mind to direct your thoughts in a certain direction?
Then they make the statement that you will not find the “church” again in the Book of Revelation, until the very end of the book in the last two chapters.
Again, notice their choice of wording to use a little truth, to try to HIDE the TRUTH. In other words, it is true that the church, as in, the WORD church is not found AFTER Revelation 2:1 through Revelation 3:14, but that does NOT mean that the BODY of believers are not found in Revelation chapters 4-20. The word “SAINTS” is found 13 times in the Book of Revelation from Revelation 5:8 to Revelation 20:9. So then, you can see how Satan deceives by HOW he words his doctrines of devils.
Then they go on to explain that the reason you supposedly do NOT find the church mentioned in Revelation chapter 4 through chapter 21 is because the church is raptured in Revelation 4:1.
And then they quote part of this verse that says, “Come up hither”.
Now, if you question them by saying that it was the Apostle John who was told to come up hither, then they will say that John was a FIGURE of the church. And while that is not false, it is not the WHOLE truth.
Then they say that after John is CAUGHT UP into heaven, he is told these words, “And I will show you things which must be HEREAFTER”. Again, they ask another question, “HEREAFTER WHAT?” But again, before you can answer or form a thought in your mind, they fill in the blank for you and say, “Why after the rapture of the CHURCH of course!”
Again, you can see how false teaching uses “belittling” as a way to intimidate the hearers to submit to their interpretation of the Scriptures. By “belittling” I mean their superior attitude comes across to me as if they are saying, “Why, how could you be so blind and dump to not see this for yourself!” Do you see what I mean?
Then they quickly skim through the scene in heaven and go to the opening of the seven seals and begin expounding on the horrors of the great tribulation period. In other words, they go to the EXTREME of making the great tribulation so horrible that Christians literally FEAR going through the great tribulation.
Now again, it is true that Revelation 4:1 is a type or example of the rapture of the church. BUT again, it is just ONE of SEVEN types or examples of the rapture of the church found in the Book of Revelation.
Let me start by again saying, I agree totally that this verse in Revelation 4:1 is a type or figure of the rapture of the church. However, it is the FIRST of seven such types or figures of the rapture of the church that I have found in the Book of Revelation.
In other words, there are six more places in the book of Revelation alone where you can observe a type, figure, or shadow of the rapture of the church. We will cover these examples of the rapture of the church when we get to those verses in this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Revelation.
For now, please know and understand that MANY in the church are now seeing that Revelation 7:9-17 is also a type or example where the rapture of the church takes place right after the SIXTH seal and BEFORE the SEVENTH seal. Again, we will cover those verse as well as other verses in the other places in Revelation describing the rapture when we get to them.
Secondly, it is also true, but misleading, that the statement that the “CHURCH” as in the word church is not found in Revelation chapter 4 through the very last word in chapter 22. Yes, your heard me correctly. The actual WORD “church” is not found in the ENTIRE book of Revelation after Revelation 3:14, but yet even those who teach a rapture before the great tribulation teach that the “CHURCH” is indeed found in Revelation 21 and 22.
Again, do you see HOW leaving OUT things can MISLEAD Christians to believe false doctrine?
So, you see dear children of God, just because that actual “church?, as in, the word church, is not found among the verses that describe the great tribulation period, that does NOT mean that the church does not go through the great tribulation.
Yes, the word “church” or “churches” may not be found after Revelation 3:22, but phases like the patience of the SAINTS, they that have the testimony of Jesus are found. Also, words like brethren, witnesses, and prophets are found. And all of these words are INDEED associated with the church. Thus, the body of believe, the CHURCH. Will go through the great tribulation.
So then, you can clearly see that the statement or the argument that the “church” is NOT found after chapter 3, until the last two chapters of Revelation is NOT teaching the truth of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. But rather,the word of God has been twisted to say what the teachers of the PRE-tribulation point of view what you to see.
Once you see that believers in Jesus called the saints and the brethren are found all the way through the Book of Revelation, then you can see that such an argument like this is absolutely ridiculous.
For you see, the WORD “church” is NOT found in some entire books of the New Testament. The actual word church is not found in the entire gospels of Mark, Luke or John. The word church is not found in 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, and Jude. And again, the word church is not found past Revelation 3:14, but that does not prove that the church is not found in those books in the New Testament and in Revelation 3:15 to the end of the last chapter in the Book of Revelation.
But yet, those who teach a rapture before the great tribulation teach that the church is found in Revelation 21 and 22 even though the WORD church is NOT found in those chapters EITHER. They try to use Revelation 21:9 to argue as being the second coming of Jesus returning with his WIFE. However, in Revelation 22:12-21, we see Jesus saying that he the COMING quickly, and we see the BRIDE saying, COME. And since Jesus is coming in Revelation chapter 22 for his bride, then the church is still on the earth during the great tribulation.
So then, when the saints, brethren, prophets, and bride are found throughout the book of Revelation, then that means that the CHURCH will go THROUGH the 3 1/2 years of great tribulation. And to try to argue that the church is not found in Revelation chapter 5 through the end of chapter 20, then that interpretation must be READ INTO the meaning of those verses that those saints are NOT the church, but rather, those saints are the so-called “tribulation” saints.
Now, I am convinced that the PRE-tribulation Christians have been deceived by the enemy and they simply “PARROT” or repeat what they sincerely believe is the truth.
So, remember that we do not war against flesh and blood. I myself was once deceived by this teaching of the PRE-tribulation view. It is pleasant to the ears to hear that the church is not going to go through the great tribulation. But simply desiring that to be true will NOT bring it to past.
So then, to me, it is better to know the TRUTH so that we can prepare ourselves mentally, spiritually, and physically to go through the great tribulation. For an in-depth teaching on the TRUTH of the great tribulation, please read the study THE GREAT TRIBULATION!
Thirdly, I would like to comment on the word “HEREAFTER”. Normally, one would conclude that the word hereafter means after this or what follows next after something else has happened. This is one meaning or one understanding of the word “hereafter”. But in the Greek language it is NOT its ONLY meaning. If you look this word up in the Greek you will find something quite interesting.
There are six different Greek words that are translated into the English word “hereafter”. Some of these words are a combination of two or more Greek words. For example in Mark 11:14, we see that Jesus cursed the fig tree by saying the following words.
Mark 11:14.
“No man shall eat of you HEREAFTER forever.”
The Greek word used here is “meketi” Strong’s number G3371, which means never again, no more, henceforward, henceforth, or hereafter. In other words, from this day forward no man will never eat of that tree again. Now, if this same Greek word, “meketi” Strong’s number G3371, was used in Revelation 4:1, then that which the pre-tribulation view teaches might possibly have some validity.
However, the Greek word translated as “hereafter” in this particular verse in Revelation 4:1, is composed of two Greek words. The Strong’s numbers are G3326+G3778. The first Greek word is “meta”, and the second Greek word is “houstos”.
Here is how the Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance defines “meta”; denoting accompaniment, amid, (association, succession) with which it is joined, follow, hence, hereafter. And the Greek word “houstos” means in this way (referring to what precedes and to what follows).
In other words, everything that PRECEDES this word “hereafter” and everything that FOLLOWS this word “hereafter” are directly connected or JOINED together and CANNOT be separated. Simply put, they occur simultaneously.
So then, what does that mean exactly? It means that the entire book of Revelation from beginning to end is written about the CHURCH, even though the word “church” itself does not appear in chapters 4-22, the end of the Book of Revelation.
Now, some may ask, “Does EVERYTHING that is written in the Book of Revelation come upon the church?” This answer to this is NO! Absolutely NOT! For you see. we, the church, are NOT appointed to God WRATH. And the SEVENTH seal, the SEVENTH trumpet, and the SEVEN vial are the WRATH of God.
Also, what comes upon those who take the MARK of the beast, does NOT come upon the church.
Now, please understand and know that the 3 1/2 years of great tribulation is NOT the WRATH of Almighty God. In other words, the ENTIRE book or Revelation INCLUDING Revelation chapter 2 and 3, the letters to the seven churches, teach us about the 3 1/2 years of great tribulation and the WRATH of God.
Remember is Revelation 3:10 that I told you that the HOUR of temptation or trial that will come upon all the world is the WRATH of God and NOT the 3 1/2 years of great tribulation. We will cover this in more detail when we get to chapter 8.
For now, let me just say that Revelation chapter 2 and 3 teach about the TRIBULATION of the church age. And the tribulation of the church began with the first persecuted disciple of Jesus. And the tribulation of the church continues all the way THROUGH the ENTIRE 3 1/2 years of GREAT tribulation right before the coming of Jesus IMMEDIATELY AFTER the TRIBULATION of those days, according to Matthew 24:29-31. So, do not try to explain away the words of Jesus in Matthew chapter 24 as being another rapture for the elect at the second coming of Jesus.
Now, again, ONE figure of the rapture can be seen in Revelation 4:1, but you can see a “picture” of the rapture in Revelation 7:9-17, Revelation 11:11-14, Revelation 14:14-16, Revelation 16:15,16, Revelation 18:4-6, and Revelation 20:4-6.
This will all come together as you begin to see a PATTERN in the Book of Revelation, which I will explain when we get there. For now, let us move on to verse 2 in Revelation chapter 4.
Revelation 4:2. “And immediately I was in the spirit: and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.”
Notice that it says immediately John was in the spirit, which corresponds to 1 Corinthians 15:5-54. And that passage of Scripture that teaches us that we shall be changed from mortal to immortal immediately in a MOMENT in a TWINKLING of an eye.
So then, the rapture, or more precisely our CHANGE will take place in a very brief moment of time with no time to repent, so be ready!
Also, we see two more things in this verse 2. Number 1, there was a throne in heaven SET or LAID up, prepared. And number 2, there is ONE who sits on the throne, we will find in Revelation chapter five that the ONE who is on the throne is Almighty God the Father. In other words, John did NOT see Jesus sitting on the throne at the right hand of the Father at this time. Remember in Revelation 1:5, we learned that Jesus is the PRINCE of kings, and he will not be crowned as the King of kings until Revelation 14:14-16 and Revelation 19:11-17.
But for now, let us move on to verse 3.
Revelation 4:3. “And He that SAT was to look upon like as jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.”
I myself have no thoughts on this verse as yet, other than the word “SAT” signifies ruling or reigning. And the fact that the throne of God is extremely beautiful and surround by magnificent colors of LIGHT like the radiance of fine gemstones like the colors of the rainbow.
This could be like the pictures that I have seen of the northern lights around the throne radiating around the throne of Almighty God. Or one might picture the rainbow round about the throne to be in an arch like the rainbow after a rain arching over the throne.
And the color emerald is green, but as a light it would have been a transparent green light that John saw surrounding the throne where the other colors could be seen through this green light.
Romans 1:20 teaches us that the things of God can be known by the creation of God. And the throne of God is in the sides of the NORTH, according to Psalm 48:1-3 and Isaiah 14:13. And the NORTHERN lights can be seen best in the far northern places like Alaska.
Keep in mind that all of my comments are based upon the way I have interpreted the Scriptures. In other words, I simply SHARE what I feel that the Holy Spirit has shown to me.
With that being said, let us move on to Revelation 4:4.
Revelation 4:4. “And round about the THRONE were four and twenty SEATS; and upon the SEATS I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.”
Remember in verse 2, John saw a throne that was SET in heaven. Again, the meaning of the Greek word that is translated as “set” also means to be APPOINTED or LAID up. And according to 2 Timothy 4:8 there is a CROWN of righteousness laid up for us that the Lord will give to us who overcome.
So then, to me, I am seeing that the SEATS are THRONES that Jesus will grant the twelve Apostles to sit upon. And the other 12 seats are laid up for the leaders of the twelve tribes of Israel who will be saved during the 1000 year reign of Jesus.
In other words, I see that rulership is indicted in this verse by the words “sitting and crowns of gold”. The white raiment signifies purity, righteousness, as in, the robes of righteousness that are given to the SAINTS in Revelation 6:11, Revelation 7:9-14, and Revelation 19:8,9.
So then, it is my OPINION that this number of elders is divided into two groups having twelve in each group, but yet ONE group of 24. I believe that the twelve Apostles will occupy twelve seats, and the other twelve seats will be occupied by twelve elders of the twelve tribes of Israel having one elder from each of the twelve tribes of Israel.
Look at Revelation 21:9-14 where it talks about the CITY of God having TWELVE gates being the TWELVE tribes of Israel and the TWELVE foundations being the TWELVE apostles. So again we have TWELVE plus TWELVE or 24 parts of this CITY of God, called the New Jerusalem. Again, we will cover that verse in more detail when we get there.
For now, let us move on to Revelation 4:5.
Revelation 4:5. “And out of the throne proceeded lightening and thundering and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.”
The seven lamps ARE the seven Spirits of Gods. Again, this is my opinion, but I believe the seven lamps to be the seven churches. It might seem like a contradiction at first when we read the words SEVEN Spirits of God here in Revelation 4:5, but we read in other verses of Scripture in the Old Testament that there is ONE God. And to us as Christians, in 1 Corinthians 8:6, the ONE God is clearly identified as being the Father and the one Lord is Jesus Christ. We also read in Ephesians 4:4 that there is but ONE Spirit.
So then, HOW can there be SEVEN Spirits of God when there is just ONE Spirit who is God Himself?
The answer is found in 1 Corinthians 6:16,17. So, let us go ahead and read those verses of Scripture.
1 Corinthians 6:15-17.
“Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
1 Corinthians 6:16. What? Know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is ONE body? For two, said he, shall be ONE flesh.
1 Corinthians 6:17. But he that is JOINED unto the Lord is ONE spirit.”
So then, we know that there is only one body of Christ, which is the church. The body has many members but is only ONE body. Even though the Bible states that there are SEVEN churches there, in fact, is only ONE church, if you follow what I am saying.
There were seven literal actual churches in Asia just like we have many many church CONGREGATIONS all over the world. But, in truth, we are all part of the ONE body of Jesus Christ, which is the ONE true church.
Likewise, there are many gifts and manifestations of the Spirit, but just ONE Spirit who is Almighty God, the Holy Spirit. And God sends a portion of Himself to DWELL in each MEMBER of the BODY of Jesus Christ.
So then, in reality, there is but ONE Holy Spirit who is Almighty God Himself. And He, Almighty God the Father chooses to work differently in each of us, where each of us is a representation or a picture of the seven churches.
In other words, there are seven basic works of the Spirit of God and the church. For instance, some churches seem to focus on healing, while other churches seem to focus on evangelism, while other churches seem to focus on prophecy. And these different areas of each church seem to be their calling, so to speak, but there is in reality all together we are ONE church where we are all members with different purposes to fulfill.
To put this in more simple term, we are all the LIGHT of the world. And my light can be seen by some people but not by other people. But your light can be seen by those people who do not see my light.
So then, a LAMP is used to give light for people see. The spirit of man is the CANDLE of the Lord searching our inward parts or our hearts. God knows our heart by His spirit of life that gives life and light to every human being, even the unsaved. But the WORLD cannot receive the Holy Spirit to dwell in them UNTIL they believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Please read Proverbs 20:27.
“The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, (Or the LAMP of Almighty God, Yahweh, the Father) searching all the inward parts of the belly.”
Again, this is different from the Holy Spirit, who can dwell ONLY in a clean vessel, which has been cleansed by the shed blood of Jesus by our FAITH in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
My point is that we are ONE spirit when we are JOINED to Jesus, but yet, we are MANY MEMBERS of the ONE body of Jesus, the CHURCH. So then, the SEVEN churches in Asia are the SEVEN LAMPS of fire burning before the throne or in the SIGHT of God who sits upon the throne. And the seven lamps or the seven LIGHTS are the seven Spirits of God.
Again, this is my own opinion. Let us move on to the next three verses in Revelation chapter 4, which teach us about the four beasts that are before the throne.
Revelation 4:6. “And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal; and in the midst of throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.”
Revelation 4:7. “And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast was like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like flying eagle.”
Revelation 4:8. “And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day or night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”
Now, concerning the FOUR beast before the throne, I have no opinion and no clue of what the four beasts are.
All that I know for sure is that they do not rest day or night. Saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
Here again in verse 8 we see the phrase, “which was, and is, and is to come” And, to me, this phrase is referring to God, the Father, the Lord God Almighty. This will become apparent when we read the next three verses in chapter 4 and get into chapter 5, which we covered briefly in chapter 1 in this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Revelation.
Now again, as far as who or what these four beasts represent, I have NO clue. Sometimes BEASTS in the Bible represent KINGDOMS, but I do not see how this would apply here in this situation. Satan is also referred to as the beast that shall ascend out of the bottomless pit. But again, I do not see how this would fit the four beasts before the throne magnify Almighty God.
As we continue this verse-by-verse study in God’s word, you will find a lot more of this figurative language. Sometime we are GIVEN the meaning straight from the Scripture with no interpretation needed. But at other time the clear meaning is left hidden for the time being. While at yet other times the Holy Spirit brings verses to our remembrance that explains the symbolic meanings.
So then, be careful when people say, this MEANS this or that and they do not give you other Scripture that CLEARLY supports what they SAY a particular verse means. I always try to be sure and state that this is MY OPINION if I do not have sufficient SOUND BIBLICAL evidence to support what I am saying. I find no shame in saying, I simply do not know, if I simply do not know. I believe this is where some of our FALSE doctrines came about because some have OVER stated what was beyond what the CLEAR and PLAIN word of God is teaching.
Now, I do say many things within the studies I write where I do NOT back up each and every single thing that I say each and every time I make a comment to explain the Scriptures.
That would be like me saying that Jesus is the SON OF God and then try to give you all the verses that prove that Jesus is the Son of God each and every time that I state that Jesus is the Son of God. We would never get anywhere if we had to thoroughly back up every word we say about verses of Scripture each and every time.
So then, almost all of the studies I write are arranged in one particular SUBJECT. That is to say, EXCEPT for vers-by-verse studies such as this studying in the Book of Revelation. And thus, what I back up by Scripture on one study that is related to that particular SUBJECT, I may not repeat that Scriptural evidence in another study on that SAME subject.
This is why I suggest to my readers that they read ALL of the RELATED studies. And it is also ASSUMED by me that you have your own concordance to look up words for yourself if I do not explain the meaning in a particular study. And I assume that most of my readers know how to us a concordance to find the verses to read for themselves.
Now, in my newer studies, I try to give links to the verses that support what I am teaching. But sometimes I simply quote a verse from memory that I assume my readers will recognize and look up form themselves.
For example, I may be teaching about a prophecy that will be fulfilled during the 1000-year reign of Jesus, and I do not give any scripture to prove to you that there is a 1000-year reign of Jesus. The reason that I do not give Scripture and verse references with links for every single thing that I say is that I assume my readers already KNOW things like there is a 1000-year reign of Jesus. And thus, I assume that most of my readers do NOT need me to PROVE things like the 1000-year reign of Jesus.
Now, If you do NOT know something and you do need a Scripture to prove what I teach, then please write to me and ask me why I teach what I teach. Sometimes I have explained that verse of Scripture in another study and I can give you a link to that study.
And if I do not have a study, then I will do my best to make the time to write a study for you proving that what I teach is the TRUTH straight from the word of God. Again, chances are that I already have a study, but it is not titled by that particular verse in question.
Moving on to verse 9 in Revelation chapter 4.
Revelation 4:9. “And when those beasts give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives for ever and ever.”
Again, who is the ONE that sits on the throne that these four beasts cry Holy, holy, holy unto day and night? To me, there is no question that it is Almighty God, the Father.
But for now, I just want to draw your attention to the fact that He that sits upon the throne is the SAME He which was, and is, and is to come, who is the Lord God the Almighty. And the God of Jesus is GREATER than Jesus, according to John 14:28 and many other verses of Scripture.
Next, I want you to see that WHEN these four beasts GIVE glory and honor to the Almighty, it is THEN that the 24 four elders fall down and worship before the Almighty God. So, I probably should have quoted verse 9 and 10 together along with verse 11.
Revelation 4:10. “The four and twenty elders fall down before Him that SAT upon the throne, and worship him that lives for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne saying,
Revelation 4:11. “You are worthy, O Lord, to RECEIVE glory and honor and POWER: for you have created ALL things, and for your pleasure THEY are created.”
Again, it is only speculation, but I believe that the twenty-four elders are the twelve Apostles of Jesus and the 12 leaders or elders of the twelve tribes of Israel. Perhaps the twelves sons of Jacob. Perhaps the twelve patriarchs. Or perhaps one from each of the twelve SEALED tribes of Israel in Revelation chapter 7.
Again, if you want to know what I am talking about by the SEALED tribes of Israel, then get out your concordance and look up the word “sealed” and read every verse in the Bible where that word sealed or seal appears. This in how you learn to study the Bible for yourself. Again, I may not expound on every word in every verse each and every time because I may already have an in-depth study on that subject or one that specific verse of Scripture.
For example, here in verse 11, we see the word “created”. Now, some Christians ASSUME that this verse is speaking of Almighty God who created all THINGS in the eternity past. And while it is true that all things were created and are created for Yahweh’s pleasure, that is NOT what Revelation 4:11 is referring to.
For you see, the English word “things” that I placed in green font color is NOT in the original Greek text. And in the LIGHT of the rest of the New Testament it is BECAUSE of what the Son of MAN, Jesus, did for us on the cross so that the ALL who believe are CREATED as NEW creatures created by Almighty God in Jesus Christ, according to Ephesians 2:10 and Ephesians 3:9.
In other words, God created us and a new creature in Jesus and NOT by Jesus. The LITERAL word for word translation from the Textus Receptus says, “you CREATE THE ALL and because of the will of you THEY ARE and are created” To say this another way, THE ALL are still yet being created because Jesus submitted his will to the WILL of his God and Father to suffer and die on the cross for our sins. And thus, the ADDED English word “things” is misleading and even deceiving if it was intentionally added by the translators to try to support the man-made doctrine of the Trinity.
Notice that I highlighted the two pronouns “him” in different colors. That is because the pronoun “Him” that is highlight in orange refers back to Almighty God, the Father, who SITS on the throne, And the pronoun “him” highlighted in blue refers to the now GLORIFIED Son of MAN, Jesus, the LAMB who was FOUND WORTHY to open the seven seals in the book that he took out of the hand of the ALMIGHTY who SITS on the throne.
Also, notice that verse 11 says that you O Lord are worthy to RECEIVE glory, honor, and POWER. Clearly, this verse is NOT referring to Almighty God, the Father, who GAVE all power and authority to the Son of MAN, Jesus, AFTER the cross and resurrection to be MADE both Lord and Christ, according to Acts 2:33-36, Matthew 28:18, Romans 1:2-4, and many other verses of Scripture like Philippians 2:8-11.
If you desire to know WHO created all things, then please read the studies I have related to that subject. I may not always give you a LINK to those studies. Now again, if I do not have a study and you want to know what a certain verse means, then write to me and ask if I can help you understand the meaning of a verse of Scripture. And if time permits and I know what that verse means, then I will write a study on that verse for you.
This brings us to CHAPTER 5 of the Book of Revelation.
Once Christians, Jews, Muslims, and even atheists understand the REASON that Yahweh CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus, was to have DOMINION over the work of Yahweh’s hands.
And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become a Lord, a King, and a God, to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
