What Does Psalm 58:3 TRULY Mean in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God?

Christadelphian Christians, Calvinistic Christians, and Reformed Theology Christians use verses like Psalm 58:3 to try to prove that Almighty God our Creator created EVIL, sends evil upon people, and that God is the CAUSE of ALL EVIL in the world.

And they, as well as other Christians also believe that ALL of mankind has inherited the SIN of Adam or at least have inherited a sinful NATURE.

However, NOT ALL Christians believe this garbage that has come from man-made doctrines being influenced by Satan, the Devil, who is the ACCUSER of the brethren, according to Revelation 12:10.

So then, which group of Christians are teaching the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. For you see, anyone can take verses of Scripture OUT of their CONTEXT and READ into those verse their OWN preconceived belief.

With that in mind, let us read Psalm 58:3 with a little context. Now, I have emphasized some words to draw you attention that Almighty God is talking to TWO different groups of BEINGS, the fallen angels and HUMANS. 

And among the humans, there is also TWO groups of people. There are the humans who do NOT listen to the voice of Satan charming them to disobey God. And there are humans who listen and obey the voice of the chramer to be led ASTRAY to live in sin.

The word highlighted in green refer to the fallen angels, part of the congregation of the gods, the Elohim. And the words highlighted in yellow refer to all humans, both obedient and disobedient to their CONSCIENCE.

Psalm 58:1-5.

“To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David. Do you indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? Do you judge uprightly, O you sons of men? (The chief Musician is Lucifer, now called Satan, the Devil. The Hebrew word that is translated as Musician means the overseer who glistens from afar. And the untranslated Hebrew word Altaschith means you must NOT destroy. And the prophet David ascribes this poem or parable to Lucifer, the chief leader of the fallen gods, that they are being judged for their works of destroying)

Psalm 58:2. Yea, in heart you work wickedness; (Yes, in the hearts of the humans and in your own heart you work wickedness. Or the work of the Devil is deceiving or charming humans to sin) you weigh the violence of your hands in the earth. (Or you pave a road or a WAY of violence in the earth, which is the work or your hands) 

Psalm 58:3. The wicked are estranged from the womb: (This means that all humans are BORN perfect and innocent before God, and THEN they are profaned away from the WAY that we are born, which is RIGHTEOUS in the eyes of God) they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. (Or more correctly translated, PART of them, born righteous, from the WOMB, they GO ASTRAY, speaking lies. Now, a person can GO ASTRAY if they were BORN astray as some Christians CLAIM. 

The Hebrew word translated as “speaking” lies also means to think or learn lies, to be subdued by lies, and to teach lies. And not just lies, but learning to speak lies in HYPOCRISY, the doctrine of devils, according to 1 Timothy 4:1,2)

Psalm 58:4. Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: (Or their indignation, speaking of the indignation of the humans that are lead astray and will suffer the wrath of God is the SAME indignation of the serpent, who most Christians know to be Satan, the Devil) they are like the deaf adder that stops her ear; (The spiritual meaning of this last phrase in connection with verse 5 is that ANY human being can WILLFULLY resist obeying the voice of Satan, the charmer, deducing them to sin. But it takes the Holy Spirit dwelling in us to be CONSISTENT in overcoming temptation to sin)

Psalm 58:5. Which will NOT hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.”

So then, my conclusion is NO! Psalm 58:3 does NOT prove that we are BORN with a sinful NATURE as some Christians CLAIM that this verse means.

The words “as soon as” are NOT in the original text. And the English word “born” is translated from TWO Hebrew word. One Hebrew word means PART of the whole. And the other Hebrew word means hollow or womb. So to me, PART of the whole human race who are born are led astray, but not ALL humans are lead astray.

Let us take a closer look at verse 1 in Psalm 58 by COMPARING Scripture with Scripture to learn some more about the chief Musician and the congregation of the Elohim.

Psalm 58:1.  

“To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David. Do you indeed speak righteousness, (Or do you speak what is right) O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men? 

As I said earlier, I believe that the chief Musician is referring to Lucifer who used to be the chief minister of music to Yahweh before he rebellion.

Now, some Christians who do not believe in the Devil will argue and say that Lucifer is not Satan. But I believe the Scriptural evidence overwhelmingly supports that the Devil is indeed a real being and that Lucifer is that fallen angel who is now Yahweh’s enemy.

The word “Musician” is found 55 times in the Bible and every time it is in the first verse of one of the Psalms written TO the chief Musician. And in Ezekiel 28:12-19, we learn quite a bit about Lucifer. But for now, we are focusing on Lucifer being the chief Musician in the Book of Psalms. So then I will only quote verse 13 in Exekiel chapter 28.

Ezekiel 28:13.  

“You have been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship (Or the MINISTRY) of your tabrets and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you were created.” 

Now, to me, it appears that God created Lucifer for the purpose of ministering with musical instruments and singing praise unto Yahweh.

For you see, the SAME Hebrew word for Musician in Psalm 58:1 is translated as chief SINGER in Habakkuk 3:19.  

Habakkuk 3:19.

“The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon my high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.” 

Again, the word “singer” and “Musician” are translated from the SAME Hebrew word “nâtsach” Strong’s number H5329. And thus, Lucifer may have been both, a minister of song and music unto Yahweh.

Also, the word “tabrets” in Ezekiel 28:13 is found in four other verses of Scripture. And in every other verse of Scripture the word tabret is clearly referring to a musical instrument. Here are the Scripture references to those other four verses, 1 Samuel 18:6, Isaiah 24:8, Isaiah 30:32, and Jeremiah 31:4. 

Jeremiah 31:4.  

“Again, I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: you shall again be adorned with your tabrets, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry.”

Plus, the word Hebrew word translated as “tabrets” is also translated as timbrel and timbrels five other verses. And again, tabrets and or timbrels are most certainly musical instruments.

Exodus 15:20.  

“And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.”

Job 21:12.  

“They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ.”

And an origin is a PIPE musical instrument.

Psalm 81:2.  

“Take a psalm, and bring here the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.”

Psalm 149:3.  

“Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.”

Psalm 150:4.  

“Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.”

So then, to me, the anointed cherub who was in the garden of Eden was indeed created by God for the work or MINISTRY as the chief MUSICIAN. 

And thus, in my mind there is no doubt that the Hebrew word translated as “pipes” refers to winds instruments such as a flute, and even a trumpet and possibly an organ. For you see, the priests used trumpets as well in worshiping God.

2 Chronicles 5:12-14.  

“Also. the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets🙂 

2 Chronicles 5:13. It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endures for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; 

2 Chronicles 5:14. So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.”

The word “tabrets” is even in a list specifically called MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. So, how can some Christians argue that tabrets are NOT musical instruments?

1 Samuel 18:6.  

“And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick.”

And here is an example were Satan is worshiped by pagans with musical instruments like the FLUTE, a PIPE instrument. Satan wants to be worshiped LIKE God, and it certainly seems that Lucifer was once a worshiper of God with SINGING and musical instruments of all types.

Daniel 3:5, 7,10,15.  

“That at what time you hear the sound of the cornet, FLUTE, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, you fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up…

…Daniel 3:7. Therefore, at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshiped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up…

…Daniel 3:10. You, O king, have made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image…

…Daniel 3:15. Now if you be ready that at what time you hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, you fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if you worship not, you shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?”

Now that we have seen that the tabrets and pipes of the anointed cherub in Ezekiel 28:13 are indeed musician instruments, and that the chief Musician is referring Satan, at least symbolically, let us see if the CONGREGATION in Psalm 58:1 is the congregation of the Elohim or congregation of the gods that Yahweh SET to be gods under Him.

Psalm 82:1,2, 5-8.

“A Psalm of Asaph. God stands in the congregation of the mighty; he judges among the gods. (Speaking of the now glorified Son of MAN, Jesus, judging the angels, specifically the FALLEN angels)

Psalm 82:2. How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah (Or more correctly translated, How much longer before you judge the unjust and resurrect the wicked people?)…

…Psalm 82:5. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. 

Psalm 82:6. I have said, You are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. 

Psalm 82:7. But you shall die LIKE men, and FALL like one of the princes. 

Psalm 82:8. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for you shall INHERIT all nations.” 

According to Galatians 3:19,20, Jesus will be the mediator between Yahweh and the fallen Elohim.

Galatians 3:19,20.

“Wherefore then serve the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. (Or more correctly translated, it was ordained by Yahweh BECAUSE of the angels that rebelled against Him for a MEDIATOR who was NOT and angelic being) 

Galatians 3:20. Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.”

Now, Christadelphian Christians do NOT believe that Satan, the Devil, is a REAL literal BEING. And the Christadelphian Christians ALSO wrongly believe, as well as, some other church denominations, that God created EVIL and that Yahweh is the CAUSE of all of the EVIL in the world. 

Plus, Christadelphian Christians, as well as other church denominations such as the Roman Catholic Church, sincerely, but wrongly believe in the FALSE doctrine or original sin. And thus, they build their other man-made doctrines upon the false doctrine of every person being born with a so-called sinful NATURE.

Again, once Christians understand the REASON that Yahweh CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus, was to have DOMINION over the work of Yahweh’s hands. 

And that you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels. 

Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become a Lord, a King, and a God, to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
