Does the Book of Mormons CONTRADICT the Bible?

Every Mormon needs to KNOW that the books in the Mormon Church CONTRADICT each other.

ALL Mormons need to KNOW that the Book of Mormon CONTRADICTS the Bible!

Will you continue to trust the teachings of Joseph Smith? Your very eternal life is at stake if you follow a FALSE prophet.

Think of what you are about to read like a letter from Jesus himself to you because he LOVES you. And all Jesus is doing is asking you some QUESTIONS for you to meditate upon and decide for yourself if you will answer his questions truthfully or if you will avoid and not answer his honest sincere questions having YOUR best interest in mind. In other words, Jesus is asking you IF you TRULY believe in HIM. So I implore you, to be honest with yourself and with God when answering the following questions. Answer them truthfully based upon what you SINCERELY believe with all your heart. That is all I am asking you to do. Here are the questions.

Is the Bible the true and trustworthy word of Almighty God and his Son Jesus Christ? That may sound like a dumb question to ask Christians but I assure you that IF you do not believe and trust the very word of Almighty God himself then how can you say that you are a true Christian and that you believe the true gospel of Jesus Christ?

The next question may also seem like a dumb question but it is a very important question that every Christian should ask their self. And that question is, should Christians follow and obey what the Bible teaches? Now, I am sure that every true Christian would agree that we should indeed follow and obey what the Bible teaches.

For example, if the pastor of your church says, please open the Bible to Acts 17:11,12 and read it. Would you take your pastor’s ADVICE and open your Bible and read Acts 17:11,12? Or would you think that your pastor is trying to TRICK and DECEIVE you with the very word of Almighty God himself?

NO! Of course, you would never think that your pastor would ever try to deceive you by giving you the ADVICE to read from the Scriptures. I mean, that is his job as a leader and teacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ and he will be held accountable for what he teaches. And YOU will be held accountable for NOT following and obeying the ADVICE from God in Acts 17:11,12.

So then, if you believe in the leading of the Holy Spirit, then it is no coincidence, to ME, that it was the Holy Spirit who led you to read this letter to my fellow Mormon Christians. So all I am asking you to do is to READ the Scriptures from Almighty God and MEDITATE on what they are actually saying with NO INTERPRETATION needed. Sure, there are some verses that are difficult to understand. But for the most part, the TRUE Gospel of Jesus Christ is written with such SIMPLICITY that even a small child can read and understand the TRUE Gospel of Jesus Christ without the help of an adult explaining to them what those SIMPLE, easy to understand verses mean.

Now, we all know that God is NOT a liar. And we also know that God is NOT the author of confusion. Therefore, we can also know that God’s word will NEVER CONTRADICT ITSELF. But the only way that we can know that what we are being taught is TRULY the word of Almighty God is to read and compare what we are being taught WITH what the Bible teaches. And the Bible ITSELF gives us the ADVICE to search the SCRIPTURES to see if what we are being taught is TRUE or if it is NOT true.

So I implore you to read Acts 17:11,12 right now and APPLY the ADVICE of Almighty God to your life. Please feel free to use ANY Bible translation that you yourself TRUST. I myself trust the King James Version but I also use all the different translations when I come across a questionable verse in the King James translation of the Bible. I fully realize that even the most anointed translator can make errors because we all have been previously taught to believe certain things. And sometimes, what we have previously been taught influences how we interpret the Bible, even when reading the original Greek and Hebrew text. So EVERY Bible translator has indeed made some mistakes in their translations of the Bible but their HEART was sincere and they felt that they did the best they could, according to their ability.

Acts 17:11,12.

“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in THAT that they received the word with all readiness of mind, AND (They) SEARCHED the SCRIPTURES DAILY, whether those things were so. 

12.  THEREFORE, many of them believed; also of honorable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.”

In other words, they heard some things that they GLADLY received because they sounded really amazing and exciting. BUT they FIRST SEARCHED the SCRIPTURES to see if what they were being told was the truth or not. To say this another way, they read the Bible for THEMSELVES to see if what they were being taught was in the Bible ITSELF or if it was NOT in the Bible ITSELF. And then, AFTER they read and studied the Bible for themselves, they BELIEVED what they were being taught BECAUSE they read it for THEMSELVES in the Holy Bible.

So then, to my fellow Mormon Christians, here are some FACTS that you must search out for YOURSELF. As I understand these facts and have searched them out for myself and found them to be true, I am now asking you to do the same. In other words, just do not simply accept what I am saying is the truth until you check out these facts for yourself. 

The first fact is that the Mormon Church is based upon the words of Joseph Smith as being called of God to RESTORE the church and the gospel. That is a Mormon FACT. And all that I am asking YOU to do is to follow and obey the ADVICE from the Bible itself in Acts 17:11,12 and from your very own church elders including one of your presidents, Gordon B. Hinckley to search out the FACTS for yourself to see if they are true or not.

For you see, IF the revelations that were given to Joseph Smith were given to him by a TRUE angel of God, then ALL those revelations should be TRUE. And every revelation that Joseph Smith received should have NO CONTRADICTIONS with each other or with the Holy Bible itself. In other words, every book used by the Mormon Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints should AGREE with each other on every point having NO CONTRADICTION between the Mormon scriptures. 

And if there are ANY contradictions between the Mormon books of Mormon scriptures then they can NOT be from Almighty God. For you see, Almighty God does NOT CONTRADICT himself.

Would you, as a Mormon, AGREE with this statement of logic?

Now, I want you to know that the leaders of the Mormon Church most certainly agree with this statement. Here are some quotes from some of the Mormon Church elders and one of the Mormon Church presidents.

Joseph Fielding Smith in his book  Doctrine on Salvation Vol 1. page 188.

SAYS,

“The church stands or falls on the story of Joseph Smith, He was either a prophet of God, divinely called, properly anointed and commissioned, or he was the biggest fraud the world has ever seen. There is NO MIDDLE ground. If Joseph Smith was a fraud, who willfully attempted to deceive the people, then he should be EXPOSED, his claims should be REFUTED, and his doctrines shone to FALSE, for the doctrines of an IMPOSTER cannot be made to harmonize in all particulars with the divine truth. If his claims and declaration were built upon fraud and deceit, there would appear many errors and contradictions, which would be easy to detect….

…There is no possiblity of his being deceived, and on this issue we are ready to make our stand.”

President Gordon B, Hinckley “Loyalty” Ensign 2003 page 58.

SAYS,“Each of us has to face the matter. Either the church is true, or it is a FRAUD. There is NO MIDDLE ground. It is the Church and Kindom of God or it is NOTHING.”

Elder James E Faust “Finding the Abundant Life” Liahona Nov. 2000 page 3

SAYS,

“I have heard some say, ’I can believe all revelation but one’. It is hard to understand this logic. If one believes that the revelations come from a divine source, HOW can one PICK and CHOOSE? Acceptance of the gospel should be complete and absolute, with full heart and soul”

Elder Neil A. Maxwell  “Things as they really are” page 74

SAYS,

“Our relationship to the LIVING prophets is NOT one where their sayings are a smorgasbord from which we may take ONLY that which PLEASES us. We are to partake of ALL that is PLACED BEFORE us, including the spinach, and leaves a clean plate!”

So then, according to the leaders of the Mormon Church, there is a 50% chance that the Mormon Church is TRUE. And there is a 50% chance that the Mormon Church is FALSE. This, of course, is the SAME for ALL church denominations that make the claim that they ALONE are the ONE and ONLY TRUE church. 

So then, a 50/50 chance of being right is like flipping a coin. Would you TRUST your very eternal life with a flip of a coin? Are YOU willing to take the CHANCE that your church denomination is teaching you the truth when you KNOW how many FALSE teachings are in other churches?

Well, that is what you are doing by blindly accepting everything that you are being taught WITHOUT searching for yourself to see if what you are being taught is SOUND Biblical teaching where ALL the Scriptures AGREE having NO contradictions! 

Will you follow the ADVICE of one of your presidents, Gordon B. Hinckley, that EACH and every Mormon should do their own TEST to see if Mormonism is TRUE or to see if Mormonism is FALSE? For you see, your president and other elders of the Mormon Church also said that there is NO MIDDLE ground and either the Mormon Church is TRUE, or it is NOT TRUE. 

And thus, you have a 50/50 chance that the Mormon Church is true or not true. And the TEST could go either way. So make SURE for yourself because your very SOUL is at stake IF the Mormon Church is NOT the ONE and ONLY TRUE church of Jesus Christ. 

And I assure you that it is NOT the truth! Simply read the results of this TESTING to see if Mormonism is true or not true.

Now, all of the quotes in this TEST, to see if the Mormon Church is true or not true, will be taken from OFFICIAL Mormon LDS websites. So there is absolutely NO anti-Mormon propaganda in this letter to all my fellow Mormon Christians. Jesus loves you and he has your best interest in mind when he had the Holy Spirit lead me to write this study for YOU to read and to decide for yourself.

Again, this study is a TEST for every Mormon to closely examine your own Mormon scriptures to see if Mormonism TRULY contradicts itself or not. I am NOT asking you to believe, ME, I am asking you to take a CLOSER look at your OWN Mormon scriptures to see if they all agree with each other on every church teaching. Or if they contradict each other is some of what the Mormon Church teaches. All the quotes that I use will be taken directly from the official Mormon LDS website with a link to that page for easy referencing.

I will also quote Scripture from the King James Version of the Bible which was the Bible used by Joseph Smith himself before the Joseph Smith Translation was translated and put into print. I strongly encourage my readers to COMPARE the verses that I quote from the King James Version with the John Smith Translation to see if they agree or if they contradict each other. I fully realize that SOME verses do contradict each other but, for now, I am only referring to the verse that I am “quoting” in this study so that you can prove for yourself, once and for all, that the Mormon Church is TRUE or IF it is FALSE.

Please read the position and belief of the Mormon Church in regard to the King James Version and all other English translations of the Holy Bible. Here is a quote from a Mormon article called “The Word of God” in the article “What the Bible means to Latter-Day Saints”. The Emphasis is mine.

The Word of God

“Because the Latter-day Saints are bold enough in today’s world to announce an open canon of scripture, some traditional Christians are quick to suggest that the Bible does not occupy a prominent place among us. They could not, of course, be more wrong. Elder M. Russell Ballard declared:

Brothers and sisters, I am sure many of you have had the experience of hearing people say that “Mormons are not Christians because they have their own Bible, the Book of Mormon.” To anyone harboring this misconception, we say that we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and the author of our salvation and that we believe, revere, and love the Holy Bible. We DO HAVE ADDITIONAL SACRED SCRIPTURE, including the Book of Mormon, but it supports the Bible, never substituting for it. . . .

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe that “all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable” (2 Timothy 3:16). We love the Bible and other scriptures. That may be surprising to some who may not be aware of our belief in the Bible as the revealed word of God. It is one of the pillars of our faith, a powerful witness of the Savior and of Christ’s ongoing influence in the lives of those who worship and follow Him. The more we read and study the Bible and its teachings, the more clearly we see the doctrinal underpinnings of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. We tend to love the scriptures that we spend time with. We may need to balance our study in order to love and understand all scripture.

You young people especially, do not discount or devalue the Holy Bible. It is the sacred, holy record of the Lord’s life. The Bible contains hundreds of pages more than all of our other scripture combined. It is the bedrock of all Christianity. We do not criticize or belittle anyone’s beliefs. Our great responsibility as Christians is to share all that God has revealed with all of His sons and daughters.

Those who join this Church do not give up their faith in the Bible—they strengthen it. The Book of Mormon does not dilute nor diminish nor de-emphasize the Bible. On the contrary, it expands, extends, and exalts it. The Book of Mormon testifies of the Bible, and both testify of Christ. [1]

Careful observers of Mormonism are quick to point out that the Book of Mormon itself explains that “plain and precious” truths were taken away or kept back from the Bible before it was compiled (see 1 Nephi 13:20–40). In addition, one of our articles of faith states, “We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly” (Articles of Faith 1:8). The question is not whether there have been scribal errors through the centuries—there have been. The question is not whether the Bible is the word of God—it is. The question is not whether the Bible can be relied upon with confidence if in fact there have been errors in the text—it can. One Christian scholar, Timothy Paul Jones, has written: “Supposing that God did inspire the original New Testament writings and that he protected those writings from error—are the available copies of the New Testament manuscripts sufficiently accurate for us to grasp the truth that God intended in the first century? I believe that the answer to this question is YES. The ancient manuscripts were not copied perfectly. Yet they were copied with enough accuracy for us to comprehend what the original authors intended.” [2]

So then, one of the elders of the Mormon Church AFFIRMS that the Mormon Church believes that all of the available translations of the Bible were copied with ENOUGH ACCURACY for us to comprehend what the ORIGINAL authors INTENDED. 

But I still want my Mormon readers to COMPARE your own Bible, the Joseph’s Smith Translation, with the King James Version, especially with the verses that I quote in this study and in other studies that I have on Mormonism. and WHY many doctrines in the Mormon Church CONTRADICT what the Bible ITSELF teaches!

So then, when I quote from the King James Bible, I am NOT asking you to believe ONLY the King James Bible. But rather, I am asking you to believe ONLY God’s TRUE Gospel of Jesus Christ written in the New Testament of the Holy Bible ITSELF that can be easily understood by a small child from EVERY Bible translation there is. 

This letter is NOT about debating whose INTERPRETATION is the correct interpretation. It is about YOU checking for YOURSELF to see if ANY of the Mormon scriptures in the Mormon books contradict EACH OTHER. 

And if you find just one contradiction between one Mormon book and another Mormon book or within the same Mormon book, THEN it is YOUR job to take a CLOSER look to see if what the Mormon Church teaches agrees with every verse in the Holy Bible ITSELF. 

You are NOT going to be JUDGED by the words that Joseph Smith wrote. But rather, you WILL be JUDGED BY the words that Jesus taught his very Apostles and disciples that are written down in EVERY translation of the Holy Bible. So read and study the BIBLE for yourself. 

Your very eternal life is at stake for following and obeying ANOTHER Testament of Jesus Christ that CONTRADICTS the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ written in the Holy Bible in the New Testament.

Let us now begin this study as a TEST to see IF there are any errors or contradiction BETWEEN the Mormon scriptures by COMPARING the books used by the Mormon Church with EACH OTHER. In other words, all you are doing is following the ADVICE of one of your presidents, Gordon B. Hinckley to see for yourself whether or not the Mormon Church is the only TRUE church. 

So then, IF all the Mormon verses AGREE with each other and there are NO verses that CONTRADICT each other, then the Mormon Church could be TRUE. But remember, there is NO MIDDLE ground. 

And that means that if you find even just ONE Mormon verse of Mormon so-called scripture in one Mormon book that CONTRADICTS another Mormon verse in another Mormon book or in the same Mormon book, then your own TEST will prove that the Mormon Church is NOT the one and only TRUE church. 

For you see, TRUE Scripture from Almighty God will NEVER contradict itself. And even ONE contradiction between Mormon scripture will prove that the prophet, Joseph Smith, is not a TRUE prophet of God. 

You have a 50/50 chance of proving that Joseph Smith is a TRUE prophet. Are you willing to take that chance to blindly accept everything you are being taught WITHOUT searching to SEE if it is true or not true? The ONLY way that you can prove to YOURSELF, one way or the other, if Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God or if he is not a true prophet of God is to search for the truth on your OWN without the Mormon COMMENTARIES and the Mormon apologist trying to explain away these very clear contradictions that other Christians are finding because they LOVE you and they care about your SOUL. 

Just to let you know in advance that IF the TEST result shows you that the Mormon Church is following the teachings of a FALSE prophet does NOT mean that ALL Christian church denominations are also following a corrupted gospel of Jesus Christ. Some of them are following another gospel but that does NOT mean that ALL church denominations are false. 

So, IF you find Joseph Smith to not be a true prophet of God that does NOT mean that you cannot trust the teachings of Jesus in the Holy Bible. For you see, your very own leaders say that in all the English translations there is ENOUGH accuracy to be able to comprehend the INTENDED meaning of the ORIGINAL authors of the Holy Bible.

And for that reason, I will also include some contradictions between Mormon scriptures from the Mormon books compared to the word of TRUTH, the Scriptures from the Holy Bible. Now, I have listed the CONTRADICTIONS that I have come across and have been made aware of. But YOU may NOT see them as contradictions. 

So please do not be offended by my using the word “contradiction”. I am only pointing out to you what I, MYSELF, am seeing as a definite contradiction between Mormon scripture with Mormon scripture and also contradictions between Mormon scripture and the TRUE Scripture from the Holy Bible ITSELF. And so you can understand what I mean by contradiction, I will give you an example with each questionable Mormon teaching.

CONTRADICTION #1.

Would you agree that the two statements, murder CAN be forgiven and murder can NOT be forgiven are contradictory statements that do NOT agree with each other? Yes, or no?

So then, if one book used by the Mormon Church says that murder CAN be forgiven. While yet another Mormon book says that murder can NOT be forgiven then you will KNOW that the Mormon books would be CONTRADICTING EACH other. So then, how do you know which Mormon book to believe and trust for your very eternal life? 

Does your church teach you that you can PICK and CHOOSE whatever verse you choose to believe? Or does your church teach you that you must believe ALL the verses of Mormon scripture?

Please read 3 Nephi 30:2 from the Book of Mormon.

“2 Turn, all ye aGentiles, from your wicked ways; and brepent of your evil doings, of your clyings and deceivings, and of your whoredoms, and of your secret abominations, and your idolatries, and of your dmurders, and your epriestcrafts, and your fenvyings, and your strifes, and from all your wickedness and abominations, and come unto me, and be baptized in my name, that ye may RECEIVE a remission of your sins, and be filled with the Holy Ghost, that ye may be gnumbered with my people who are of the house of Israel.”

Now please read Documents and Covenants 42:18,79 and 132:27 so that you can see that these two Mormon books CONTRADICT each other.

Documents and Covenants 42:18,79.

“18. And now, behold, I speak unto the church. Thou shalt not akill; and he that bkills shall cNOT have forgiveness in this world, nor in the world to come….

…79. 79 And it shall come to pass, that if any persons among you shall akill they shall be delivered up and dealt with according to the laws of the land; for remember that he hath NO forgiveness; and it shall be proved according to the laws of the land.” 

Documents and Covenants 132:27.

“The ablasphemy against the Holy Ghost, which shall bNOT be cforgiven in the world nor out of the world, IS in that ye commit dmurder wherein ye shed innocent blood, and assent unto my death, after ye have received my new and everlasting covenant, saith the Lord God; and he that abideth not this law can in nowise enter into my glory, but shall be edamned, saith the Lord.”

Now, let us read what the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible has to say about forgiveness of sins, including murder.

Please read Romans 3:25.

“Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;”

The remission of PAST sins covers EVERY sin in the past before a person believes in Jesus, INCLUDING murder and BLASPHEMING the Holy Spirit. 

But what about sins that are committed AFTER a person becomes a believer in Jesus?

Please read 1 John 1:9.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.”

Also, read 1 John 2:2.

“And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

So then, God is NO respecter of persons when it comes to forgiving people of their sins. Did you know that if you HATE your brother that God considers that HATRED to be the same as having MURDER in your heart? 

Please read 1 John 2:15.

“Whosoever HATES (In the PRESENT tense) his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.”

But if you confess your sin of hatred God will indeed forgive you and cleanse you from ALL unrighteousness. And you do NOT need to go to any church leaders to receive forgiveness from God. We are to go straight to God in prayer to confess our sins and He is faithful and just to forgive our sins, INCLUDING MURDER. For you see, any one of us can become deceived by the deceivableness of sin including murder.

Please read Hebrews 2:13.

“But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest ANY of YOU be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.” 

Pray that the sin of murder never happens because it is hard to forgive OURSELVES of the sins we commit.

Now let me ask you another question while we are on this subject of the sin of murder. Do you THINK that Joseph Smith shot two men with the INTENTION to KILL? He shot one man in the arm and one in the FACE. So you decide if Joseph Smith harbored MURDER in his HEART when he shot those two men. Here is a link to an official Mormon article on FairMormon.org defending Joseph Smith with their documented details of what really happened. And as you read that article think of what Jesus would have done. Did Jesus fight against his accusers? Would YOU have shot two men or would you have died as a true martyr for Jesus Christ?

CONTRADICTION #2.

Does the statement you are to have only one wife CONTRADICTS the statement that it is permissible to have more than one wife? Yes or no?

Please read Documents and Covenants 132:1-4, 61,62.

“1 Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you my servant Joseph, that inasmuch as you have inquired of my hand to know and understand wherein I, the Lord, justified my servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as also Moses, David, (And both Moses and David were MURDERS) and Solomon, my servants, as touching the principle and doctrine of their having many awives and bconcubines—

2 Behold, and lo, I am the Lord thy God, and will answer thee as touching this matter.

3 Therefore, aprepare thy heart to receive and bobey the instructions which I am about to give unto you; for all those who have this law revealed unto them must obey the same.

4 For behold, I reveal unto you a new and an everlasting acovenant; and if ye abide not that covenant, then are ye bdamned; for no one can creject this covenant and be permitted to enter into my glory….

…61 And again, as pertaining to the law of the priesthood—if any man espouse a virgin, and desire to espouse aanother, and the first give her consent, and if he espouse the second, and they are virgins, and have vowed to no other man, then is he justified; he cannot commit adultery for they are given unto him; for he cannot commit adultery with that that belongeth unto him and to no one else.

62 And if he have aten virgins given unto him by this law, he cannot commit adultery, for they belong to him, and they are given unto him; therefore is he justified.”

Now read Jacob 2:24-27 from the Book of Mormon.

“24 Behold, David and aSolomon truly had many bwives and concubines, which thing was cABOMINABLE before me, saith the Lord.

25 Wherefore, thus saith the Lord, I have led this people forth out of the land of Jerusalem, by the power of mine arm, that I might raise up unto me a arighteous branch from the fruit of the loins of Joseph.

26 Wherefore, I the Lord God will not suffer that this people shall do like unto them of old.

27 Wherefore, my brethren, hear me, and hearken to the word of the Lord: For there shall NOT any aman among you have save it be bONE cwife; and concubines he shall have none;”

So again, WHICH Mormon book can you TRUST with your very eternal life?

What does the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible teach us on this subject of marriage and adultery under the New Covenant written in the New Testament in the Holy Bible ITSELF?  Please read the following verses.

1 Timothy 3:12.

“Let the deacons be the husbands of ONE wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.”

1 Timothy 5:9.  

“Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of ONE man,”

Titus 1:6.  

“If any is blameless, the husband of ONE wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.”

Matthew 19:5.

“And said, For this cause shall a MAN leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his WIFE: (In the SINGULAR. Both MAN and WIFE are in the singular. So Jesus himself taught us that marriage is between ONE man and ONE woman. Therefore, any other marriage is NOT sanctioned by Almighty God and is a sin) and they twain shall be one flesh?”

And did you know that Jesus HIMSELF also taught us that we, as Christians, will NOT be given in MARRIAGE in the world to come? So Mormonism not only contradicts ITSELF but Mormonism also CONTRADICTS the word of Jesus HIMSELF.

Please read Matthew 22:29,30.

“Jesus answered and said unto them, You do ERR, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. 

30.  For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.”

CONTRADICTION #3.

Now, you have not been made aware of what other Christians believe concerning who Jesus is. And thus, you may not know that different church denominations CONTRADICT each other as to who they sincerely believe that Jesus is. There are Christians who sincerely believe that Jesus is the Father, as in, Jesus is one and the self-SAME BEING as the Father and that the Father is NOT a SEPARATE person from Jesus.

And then, there are other Christians who sincerely believe that Jesus is NOT the Father and that Jesus is most definitely a SEPARATE distinctly different person FROM the Father. They believe that Jesus is NOT one and the self SAME BEING as the Father.

So then, does the statement, Jesus is the Father CONTRADICT the statement Jesus is NOT the Father? Yes, or no?

The answer is yes, because they are saying the exact opposite of each other. Now, it the SAME church denomination taught BOTH of these things, Jesus is the Father AND Jesus is NOT the Father, then you would NOT trust that church denomination.

Please read Documents and Covenants 130:22.

“The aFather has a bbody of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of cSpirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not ddwell in us.”

And yet, the TRUE Scriptures in the Bible teach us that the Father DWELT in the Son of MAN, Jesus. John 14:10 does NOT say the Holy Spirit dwelt in Jesus, it says the FATHER DWELT in the Son. And, according to the so-called Mormon scriptures, the Father has a flesh and blood body and it is NOT POSSIBLE for a flesh and blood body to DWELT in a person, and that is WHY the Holy Spirit does NOT have a flesh and bone body.

Now, if the Father is the Almighty God and God is a Spirit, and the Holy Spirit has NO BODY, then that means that the Father, who is the Eternal Spirit has NO BODY of flesh and bones as the Mormon Church CLAIMS by their FALSE scriptures.

John 14:10.

“Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that DWELLS in me, He does the works.”

So then, Doctrines and Covenants is saying that the Father has His own body and the Son has His own body. And that is the same as saying that the Father is a SEPARATE person FROM His Son, Jesus. And thus, Jesus is NOT one and the self-same BEING as the Father. 

Simply put, Documents and Covenants is saying that Jesus is NOT the Father. Do you agree? Is that the way you read this verse? I mean, if you have a body and I have a body, even though we have the same KIND of body, we do not SHARE the SAME body. For you see, we are two DIFFERENT and SEPARATE person from each other. That is just common sense. Do you agree? Now please read Mosiah 15:1-4 and Ether 2:14.

Mosiah 15:1-4 from the Book of Mormon. 

“And now Abinadi said unto them: I would that ye should understand that God himself shall come down among the children of men and redeem his people.

2. And because he dwelleth in flesh he shall be called the Son of God, and having subjected the flesh to the will of the Father, being the Father and the Son–

3. The Father because he was conceived by the power of God; and the Son because of the flesh; thus becoming the Father and the Son.

4. And they are one God, the very Eternal Father of heaven and of the earth.”

Ether 3:14.

“Behold, I am he who was prepared from the foundation of the world to redeem my people. Behold, I am Jesus Christ. I am the Father and the Son. In me shall shall all mankind have life, and that eternally, even they who shall believe on my name; and they shall become my sons and my daughters.”

So then, in the Mormon book, the Doctrines and the Covenants, the Father has a body of flesh AND ALSO the Son has a body of flesh. BUT in the Book of Mormon, they both have the SAME body of flesh. And in Ether 3:14 Jesus says that he IS the Father, the ETERNAL Father, according to Mosiah 15:1-4.

Now, to ME, that is a DEFINITE CONTRADICTION between the two Mormon books of the ONE Mormon faith.

I fully realize that DIFFERENT church denominations have a difference of OPINION as to whether Jesus is the Father or if Jesus is a SEPARATE person FROM the Father and that is WHY there are DIFFERENT church denominations. 

But it is not possible for ONE TRUE faith to believe two different things that are OPPOSITE of each other at the SAME time. So Mormonism is going to have to decide WHO Jesus TRULY is based upon ONLY the Holy Bible ITSELF because the Mormon books CONTRADICT each other.

Here is another FACT that you can research on your own later. Did you know that the testimony of the three WITNESSES to the Book of Mormon described The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as being one God?

Also, did you know that the ORIGINAL1830 Edition of the Book of Mormon in 1 Nephi 11:21 states very plainly that Jesus is the Father. And in 1 Nephi 13:40 it also clearly states as a fact with no interpretation needed that Jesus is the Father as well. 

However, the Mormon leaders CHANGED their belief that Jesus is the Father. And thus, they had to CHANGED the “alleged” divine revelation of Joseph Smith to fit their NEW belief. So then, later editions of the Book of Mormon CHANGED those Mormon verses in 1 Nephi 11:21 and 1 Nephi 13:40 to read SON OF the Eternal Father. 

Check these VITAL FACTS out for yourself because your very eternal life is at stake. For you see, by CHANGING even ONE single word of a so-called TRUE prophet of God is to openly admit that Joseph Smith is a FALSE prophet. 

And thus, NONE of the so-called revelations of Joseph Smith were from the ONE TRUE and ONLY Almighty God. 

So the, since none of the revelations that Joseph Smith had were from the TRUE God, then that means that they were from Satan who manifested himself and an ANGEL of light to start his OWN church to DECEIVE as many Mormons as he can.

My hearts cry unto Almighty God and his Son for you, who are Mormons, is that you come OUT of the Mormon Church altogether and start believing the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ found ONLY in the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible ITSELF.

Once you understand the Jesus was CREATED and WHY God created MAN and the Son of MAN, Jesus, then all of the verses of Scripture fall right in place. And the REASON that Yahweh CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus, was to have DOMINION over the work of Yahweh’s hands. And the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
