My websites here at FirstBornOfGod.com and at AMatterOfTruth.com are about giving my readers and seekers of the truth sound Biblical Bible studies that they can trust and share with others.

I chose the name of my first website because to me, the TRUTH matters. And I chose the name of my website here, FirstbornOfGod.com based upon Hebrews 12:23, which teaches us that the Apostles of Jesus called the fellowship or the general assembly of the body of Jesus Christ by the name, Church of the FIRSTBORN. So let us go ahead and read some context with that verse of Scripture.

Hebrews 12:22-29.

“But you are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 

Hebrews 23.  To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 

Hebrews 24.  And to Jesus, the mediator of the New Covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel. 

Hebrews 25.  See that you refuse not Him that speaks. For if they (Speaking of people during the Old Testament times) escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, (Speaking of Almighty God speaking through His prophets during the Old Testament times) much more shall we NOT escape, IF we turn away from Him that speaks from heaven: (Again, it is Almighty God speaking to us through His Prophet Jesus who was made both Lord and Christ by Yahweh the Father after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36 and many other verses of Scripture)

Hebrews 26.  Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 

Hebrews 27.  And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removal of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 

28.  Wherefore, we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 

29.  For our God is a consuming fire.” 

I also chose the name First Born of God, because I myself was never taught by any church denomination that I attended what the phrase “firstborn of every creature” means. In other words, it was the Holy Spirit who taught me the sound Biblical meaning of Jesus being the “firstborn of every creature” TRULY means in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. Let us go ahead and read in Colossians 1:15 so that you can see that Jesus is the IMAGE of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN of every creature.

“Who is the IMAGE of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN of every creature:” 

But what does this verse of Scripture TRULY mean in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God? If you only learn one thing from my website, I pray that you learn to CORRECTLY interpret the God intended meaning of each verse of Scripture in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. For you see, it is when Christians take verses of Scripture OUT of their CONTEXT and read their own interpretation into a verse of Scripture that leads to false doctrines in the church.

So then, the first VERSE Bible study that I would suggest that you read is WHAT Does Colossians 1:15 TRULY MEAN?
